“Name your price.”
“He’s worth more to me that you could ever afford.”
“Everyone has a price,” Victor said calmly, one hand wrapped around the
chipped, floral patterned teacup Nikolai had offered him upon his arrival.
“What is Yuri’s price? I’ll pay it.”
Victor had contacted the beta after learning Yuri was pregnant. He was sure the
old man’s weakened sense of smell had no clue that his grandson was with child
and the alpha was determined to have the omega by his side immediately. He
didn’t want his child growing without him there to keep an eye on Yuri’s
health.
“He’s just a child-”
“Not anymore,” Victor’s tone was icy as a grin tugged at the corners of his
mouth. “I am the first to ask for him, and I’m more than willing to make you a
very generous offer, more generous than anyone else will make.”
“I’m not putting a price on his head. He’s gone through so much recently, and
he needs time to understand what is happening to him,” Nikolai stated firmly,
grabbing a cookie off of the plate that sat between them. “If I would have
known that this was what you wanted to discuss with me I wouldn’t have agreed-
”.
“I’ll pay you in Euros. Name your price and I can have the money to you
immediately. You would be set for the rest of your lifetime and I would give
Yuri everything he could ever want.”
“He’s my grandson. He’s all I have.”
“Don’t think of it as losing him,” Victor said, voice dripping with false
sincerity as he gently took Nikolai’s hand in his. “You’re just gaining another
family member.”
“I would want to ask him what he wants…”
“Go ahead and ask him,” Victor said confidently. “He was the one who came up
with this idea afterall.”
________
He had cornered Yuri after practice in the locker room, it was quickly becoming
a tradition between them. Clandestine meetings in the locker room...how very
unromantic. Victor held the box in one hand, debating on having Yuri open it
himself, but wanted to present the young omega with the gift.
“What...what is it?”
Victor opened the small velvet box and presented the contents to Yuri with a
smile. The necklace was simple yet elegant, a large pear cut emerald hung from
a thin white gold chain.
“It’s very pretty,” Yuri said quietly, hands folded politely in his lap as
Victor leaned in to press a kiss to his cheek.
“Let me help you put it on.”
Yuri brushed his hair away from his shoulders, flinching at the cold touch of
Victor’s hands as the alpha carefully removed the necklace from the box.
“I’m going to ask your grandfather to let you come live with me,” Victor said
softly, lips pressed to the shell of Yuri’s ear as he secured the chain around
the blond’s neck. “And I’m going to pay him your virgin price...whatever he
decides that may be.”
“But...but I’m not-”
“He doesn’t have to know that,” Victor said softly, one hand gently squeezing
Yuri’s thigh as he moved to stand, looking down at the blond with a smile. “It
looks beautiful with your eyes. You should never take it off.”
Yuri’s hands reached up to touch the gemstone at his neck, his thin fingers
were trembling as he toyed with it carefully.
“I got you a collar that looks very similar to this necklace for you to put on
your kitty. How is she by the way? Did you give her a name?” Victor asked
lowly, blue eyes narrowed as the omega worried his bottom lip between his
teeth.
“Tsarina…” Yuri mumbled, eyes fixated on the floor.
“What a pretty name.”
“I really do appreciate your gifts, Vitya-”
“Then tell your grandfather you want to be bonded to me when the time comes.”
“But why-”
“I’ll give him enough money to have an amazing life...you would be giving your
grandfather then chance to live in luxury. He will never need to work again.”
“I don’t know…”
“Don’t you care about him? Hasn’t he already done so much for you?”
Yuri’s cheeks went pink as he considered the alpha’s words. Victor was right.
His grandfather always did so much for him…
“I’ll do it, but I want to be able to see him when I want.”
“Of course you can,” Victor said sweetly, kneeling before the omega to press a
hand to the slight bump currently hidden under the thick fabric of Yuri’s
sweater. “I just want what’s best for you and this pup. You’ll understand
someday.”

***** It Will Happen One Day *****
Yuri stood at the kitchen counter, one cabinet door open as he considered his
options. His delicate hands rested on the sides of his round stomach, fingers
pressing softly against the fabric of his shirt, searching for signs of life.
It was around lunch time, the time he was usually most active. Yuri grinned
widely when he felt the gentle movement of his pup switching positions, his
hands tracking the his sweet little boy as he settled into a new position.
“You need to go lie down,” the alpha said from behind him.
The omega spun quickly, his belly cradled in his hands as he frowned at Victor.
“I’m just hungry-”
“You have plenty of approved snacks in your room and lunch isn’t until an hour
from now,” the alpha grumbled, hand at the small of Yuri’s back urging him to
return to his bedroom. The omega slipped away from the alpha, moving to stand
by the refrigerator.
“I just wanted a few minutes to walk around, Vitya-”
“Unacceptable. Do I have to keep you in my bed to ensure that you’re listening
to the doctor’s orders?”
Yuri could feel the redness beginning to creep into his cheeks as he stared at
the floor, unable to meet the sharp gaze of the alpha’s eyes. Instead his eyes
flicked momentarily to the calendar. The date was circled in thick red marker,
something very stereotypical, but effective nonetheless. No words were needed
to remind the omega why it was so important. Each day that passed Yuri by
seemed to blur as dread and nervousness began to consume his every waking
thought. He was going to have a baby, and he had no fucking clue how to be a
parent.
21 Days.
504 Minutes.
30,240 Seconds.
Far too soon.
Yuri had been having serious anxiety issues with his pregnancy since the first
official trip to the doctor had been a nightmare. In between the disapproving
looks and scowls of disgust that were thrown at the small blond in the waiting
room, Yuri found himself struggling to grasp the warnings and pregnancy advice
that filled the pages of the ancient magazines that lined one wall. One of the
omega’s hands rested neatly on his belly as the number of risks were outlined
in one article on teen pregnancy.
Miscarriage.
Anemia.
Preeclampsia.
The omega could feel himself growing more and more nauseated with each line.
Did his baby even have a chance?
He hoped that if he appeared busy or genuinely concerned the rest of the omegas
and their alphas in the waiting room would all just leave him alone, but he
could hear their snide comments as their eyes would shift from his petite form
to that of Victor who sat quietly beside him.
“Far too young to be having a baby.”
“He’s still baby himself.”
“Those pups have no chance of making it.”
Yet, they had never had any sort of confrontation until the bitter end. Yuri
had ballooned up to an incredible size for only being pregnant with one child,
his slight form was to blame for that and his doctor seemed unconcerned with
it. His sweaters hugged his swollen belly tightly, accenting the round little
basketball he was forced to carry with him everywhere. Victor had sat close to
the blond on that day, hand absently touching the omega's stomach while
flicking through photos on his phone. The silver haired man was humming softly
to himself as they waited patiently to be called back, it was one of their last
few visits. The omega’s doctor had upped his check-ups to once a week until his
scheduled c-section, saying it was standard procedure and nothing to be worried
about.
Yuri could tell someone was standing in front of him, but didn’t raise his eyes
to acknowledge them. Instead he stared harder at the magazine he rest on his
belly, hoping they were just looking for something to read of their own, or
that they would just go away.
“You're a pervert.”
Yuri's eyes widened in shock at the statement, and his palms began to sweat
when he felt the alpha's hand leave his stomach. The omega woman who had
uttered the remark stood in front of the pair, a large scowl upon her face, her
dark brown hair swept up into a messy bun. Neither the alpha or omega had any
words for her, yet she continued to stand there as if demanding an answer.
“How old is he?”
“That’s none of your business,” Victor said quietly, as he sat his phone in his
lap.
“He looks like he’s still a pup.”
“He’s obviously already presented, making him an adult.”
“He’s just a child-”
“Enough. Please go sit down, he’s my omega and none of your concern,” Victor
said coldly, blue eyes flat and dark.
“Men like you are just sickening-”
“You don’t even smell pregnant, so why are you here? Is your alpha failing
you?” Victor said with a sweet smile as his hand returned to Yuri’s stomach.
“Or maybe it’s you? Unable to conceive? Are you jealous?”
The woman’s face went red as a short alpha female came quietly over, softly
apologizing before pulling her mate away to sit on the other side of the room.
Victor watched them go with a nod before busying himself with his phone again.
Yuri’s face felt hot, the hair on the back of his neck standing on end as he
let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. He shyly looked to Victor
who was lost in a sea of Instagram photos, uncaring of the looks the rest of
the waiting room was now giving them.
“Mr. Plisetsky?”
The omega jumped up at the sound of his name. He could honestly say he had
never been more happy to hear it. Yuri gathered his coat and phone before
hurrying over the the young beta that stood waiting for him, followed closely
by Victor. He could feel the omega woman’s eyes still on him as the door softly
closed behind them.

Chapter Summary
     The day he arrived.
Yuri braced himself on the kitchen counter as a wave of pain washed through his
pelvis, one hand moving to rub soft circles on his heavy belly while a shaky
moan escaped his lips. His hands were clammy as he pushed down the nausea that
made his knees want to buckle. His fingertips tracked his baby's erratic
movements, sighing deeply as the pup refused to settle. Yuri had hoped that
eating would have calmed the restless baby. However, the half of an apple and
bowl of strawberry yogurt he snacked on had done nothing but soothe some of the
heartburn that had been plaguing Yuri since the night before.
The blond smiled down at Makkachin, the large poodle nosing at his belly with a
curiousness that made Yuri laugh weakly as he gently shooed the dog away. The
omega didn't need everyone in the house doting on him at all hours of the day.
The omega had been moving sluggishly since waking up this morning. His back
screaming as he toted around his full stomach. His light blue shirt clung to
the obscene roundness of his midsection. The fabric was stretched so tightly
that the seams were almost on the verge of tearing as the shirt hugged his
doughy tummy. However, Yuri refused to buy new clothing, insisting that they
spend money on things for the pup before buying anything for themselves. Even
though Victor made more than enough money to provide their small family with
anything they could ever need, Yuri wanted nothing for himself. The omega was
focused on devoting every dollar in their shared bank account to the sweet baby
he would soon have in his arms.
At this stage of his pregnancy, much of the blond omega's wardrobe was unable
to cover his massive bump. Yuri had gained a great amount of weight in such a
focused area, that he spent most of his days utterly miserable. The blond's
back had started hating him for carrying around such a large baby for the past
nine months, random spasms causing the omega to often be forced to lie down.
Yet, Yuri often powered through the pain, seeking comfort in the moments he
spent arranging the nursery. Mostly the omega enjoyed the time he got to relax
in the overstuffed, suede rocking chair Victor had surprised him with as he
surveyed the pale blue room. Everything was in its place, waiting for its
chance to be useful. The couple was more than prepared for their pup’s arrival.
Yuri often found himself wondering how he would return to his previous size
after giving birth. The omega would stare at himself in the mirror each morning
as Victor kneeled before him. The alpha would spend several minutes whispering
sweet words to their pup, one ear pressed to the blond's stomach, before
leaving for practice. It had become their ritual since the omega had first
moved in with Victor. Yuri wished that the alpha would have stayed home today.
The omega’s green eyes flicked toward the calendar, frowning at the date marked
in red that was still one week away. His body seemed to be feeling the effect
of his full womb as the days until his due date ticked by. His little pup was
active today, the constant movement making the omega unsteady as he tried to
make his way to the living room.
Yuri lost his balance as he made it past the large kitchen island and no longer
had something firm to support his weight. His knees hit the wooden floor with a
loud thud, his hands immediately moving to cradle his stomach as he feared
hurting his pup with the sudden fall. Luckily his knees had taken the brunt of
the pain from losing his footing. However, pain stabbed at Yuri's lower back
and began to travel through his pelvis. The blond sobbed as he tried to stand
up, his knees refusing to lift his weight as another sharp pain rippled through
him. Yuri crumbled to the floor, body trembling with fear as he realized
something felt terribly wrong. Makkachin licked at the blond's cheek as Yuri
whimpered in discomfort.
“Makka, please stop, puppy,” Yuri whined as he tried to moved the dog away from
him.
The omega began to panic as he reached into the pockets of his sweatpants in
search of his phone, finding nothing. The blond’s heart was in his throat as he
pushed himself up onto his hands and knees, his belly almost brushing against
the wood floor beneath him as he attempted to get to his feet again. His back
howled in agony as he was unable to stand. Yuri brushed the tears from his face
as he tried to calm down. He needed to find his cellphone. He needed to call
Victor. However, more tears flowed down the omega's cheeks when he remembered
that he had left the device in their bedroom.
Yuri decided to start crawling there, his whole body shaking as he willed
himself forward. It was only a short distance away…
The omega collapsed just outside the door, rolling onto his back as he gasped
for air, Makkachin staring down at the blond as the dog happily wiggled next to
the suffering omega. Yuri remembered the time he had read about false labor
pains in one of the books Victor had bought for him, hoping that maybe this
would just end any moment now and he would laugh it off later, but the
continuous ache in his midsection made the blond wonder if this was the real
thing. Yuri forced himself to sit up, hand gripping the door handle tightly
when he heard the front door open.
Makkachin hurried off to investigate, while Yuri quickly called out to the
person, who he prayed was Victor. The omega's heart began to race as he smelled
the alpha's scent. “Vitya? Please help me.”
“Yuri?!”
“I need help, Vitya,” the blond cried as he wrapped his arms around his middle,
his back braced against their bedroom door. “Something is wrong-”
Yuri closed his eyes tightly as he struggled to control his breathing like the
ladies in his birthing classes had taught him to do. However, just as quickly
as he closed them his eyes snapped back open when he felt himself lifted from
the floor and into Victor's strong arms. Yuri buried his face into the alpha’s
chest, seeking comfort in the older male’s scent as he whimpered in pain. The
blond could feel the heavy beating of Victor's heart as he clung to the silver
haired man.
“Vitya, I promise I didn't do anything wrong-”
“Shhhhh. I have you now, Yura,” Victor said quietly as he sat the blond down on
the couch. The alpha's hands rubbed small circles over the omega's stomach as
he looked up into Yuri's eyes. “I'm going to put your shoes on and we are going
to the hospital.”
“I think something is wrong-”
“Hush sweetling, the doctor will know what to do.”
“Our pup…”
“He will be fine, my love,” Victor stated firmly as he slipped on one of Yuri's
soft boots, groping blindly for the other as he refused to look away from the
omega's face. “Our pup is going to be just fine.”
Yuri nodded tearfully, groaning in pain as another sharp stabbing sensation
tore through him. His green eyes watery with unshed tears.
“I'll carry you.”
Yuri cried the entire ride to the hospital. His body felt like it was being
torn in half as he struggled to gasp for air between his pathetic, painful
moans. Victor kept one hand on the omega's stomach as he tried to focus on
driving. He buried his worries as he kept his exterior calm and his scent
comforting for the blond. He parked their car outside of the emergency room
entrance, carrying the omega inside and up to the registration desk with
hurried footsteps.
“Sir you can't leave your car parked-”
“My mate is experiencing horrible pain,” Victor growled as he hugged Yuri
tightly to his chest. His blue eyes we narrowed into thin slits as he settled
the blond into a nearby waiting room chair before stalking back to the
receptionist with a frown upon his face. “As you can see, he's nine months
pregnant. He's not due until next week. He needs a doctor now.”
“Sir, I will need you to fill out this paperwork and we can get your mate into
a room as quickly as possible.”
“See to it that you do,” Victor snapped as he crumbled up the papers in one
hand before hurrying back to Yuri's side. The alpha softly nuzzled at the
omega's mess of blond hair as he sat down next to Yuri, whispering word of
encouragement to the omega as he filled out the documents. “Our baby is going
to be fine, Yura. Just keep taking deep breaths and try to calm down.”
Yuri nodded weakly as he grit his teeth. He focused on taking deep breaths as
Victor handed in the papers and headed back out into the cold to move their car
to the lot. The blond was being helped into a wheelchair when the alpha
reappeared. The silver haired man gripped one of Yuri's thin hands as they
escorted the pair onto an elevator to get the blond settled into a room on the
maternity floor.
Victor helped Yuri out of his clothing and into the ugly, green hospital gown.
He lifted the blond into the metal bed, pulling a chair up next to the mattress
as he leaned forward to rest his head on the omega's stomach.
“You need to calm down in there. You're making your mama hurt, little one.”
“Is he going to be okay, Vitya? What if they make him come out now?! I'm not
ready for him to come out yet-”
“Shhhhhh. Lay back, Yura. We will have to see what the doctor says.”
“I can't take this much longer. It hurts so bad.”
“I know, my sweet. I know you're in a lot of pain, but it will be over soon.”
They decided to deliver the pup immediately. The omega had professed into a
natural, yet early labor much to the petite blond's dismay. They assured him
that he had done nothing wrong, and that his body had decided it was time, but
Yuri could shake the feeling that he had messed up. He wasn't ready for his pup
to be born yet.
Yuri's green eyes stared up at the bright overhead light of the operating room
as Victor stood by his side, brushing his damp blond hair away from the omega's
face as they waited for the anesthesia to begin working. The alpha pressed a
quick kiss to Yuri's forehead.
“Will you hold my hand?” Yuri asked sluggishly, his mouth not wanting to work
as his body began to feel tingly.
“Of course,” Victor said softly, fingers squeezing Yuri's as he tried to
reassure the omega.
All the blond could could feel was pressure as the doctor began to operate.
Yuri struggled to stay focused between the frenzy of people around him and the
steady beeping of the heart rate monitor next to his head. He just felt overly
tired. Victor assured him that everything was going okay, but he knew something
was wrong when he himself growing cold and suddenly very wet. Nurses rushed to
his side, pushing Victor away as as heart rate monitor and another machine
began to beep erratically. The omega's eyes fluttered closed as he stared past
the group of nurses up into Victor's wide aqua eyes.
Yuri's eyelids felt impossibly heavy as he struggled to open his eyes. His body
felt cold as he pulled the many layers blankets tighter around him. Yuri's
fingertips were numb as he rubbed the fabric between his thumb and index
finger. The omega's green eyes slit open. The hospital room was dark, the door
slightly ajar to allow the bright light from the hallway to gently illuminate
the room.
“You're awake.”
Yuri turned slowly toward the familiar voice, his brain sluggish as he adjusted
to being conscious. His heart started to beat wildly when his eyes settled on
Victor. The alpha sat stiffly in a small, plastic chair, gently bouncing a tiny
wrapped bundle in his arms.
“Is that-”
“You lost a lot of blood, Yura...they didn't think you'd wake up so soon,”
Victor said softly as he looked down at the baby in his arms. “I...I was afraid
you weren't going to make it.”
“I need to see him,” the omega whimpered, extending his hands toward the alpha
and what he assumed was their newborn pup. “I want him. Let me hold him.”
Victor stood slowly, crossing the short distance between them to ease the baby
into the blond's arms, settling the pup onto his mother's chest. Yuri cried as
he placed one hand on the baby's back, nuzzling the soft bald head that fit so
perfectly under his chin.
“You're beautiful, Yura.”
Yuri nodded weakly as he clung to the small pup in his arms. He had never felt
more amazing than he did at this very moment, and he prayed the feeling would
last forever.

***** The Story of Tonight *****
Chapter Summary
A Russian broodmare was what he had become.
His blond hair hung in a thick braid over one shoulder as he leaned forward,
balancing the small child that clung to the omega’s spindly legs while also
trying to keep his own feet from slipping out from underneath him in the
process.
“Hold me, mama.”
Yuri cooed softly at the small pup, the boy all smiles and wide blue eyes as
they moved together, albeit very slowly, a few steps further toward the center
of the ice. The child’s tiny mittened hands gripped the hem of Yuri’s navy blue
coat as the pup shrieked with laughter, blue eyes flicking up to his mother’s
face.
“Excited, malysh?”
“Mama,” the child stated with pride as Yuri let go of him, the silver haired
boy wobbling a bit before catching himself.
“Very good. You’ll be as great, if not better than your father in no time,” the
blond said quietly as he watched the little alpha pup clap his hands happily at
the mention of his papa.
Yuri sighed deeply to himself, leaving the pup’s side. As he skated a circle
around where his pup stood with wiggling arms outstretched to the omega, Yuri
couldn’t hide the smile that crept across his face as his movements were
closely tracked by his stationary pup. The omega allowed himself a moment of
freedom as he glided across the smooth surface, scarf being blown back from his
neck as he whipped around the outer perimeter of the rink, reflecting on where
his career would have gone if...if things had been different.
“Mama,” the small voice demanded, eyes narrowed and face scrunched in an
adorable pout.
“Okay, okay, Feliks,” Yuri sighed with a shake of his head, skating back to the
child’s side, scooping him up off the ice, the child’s legs struggling to wrap
around his swollen midsection.
Won’t be able to do that for much longer, Yuri thought to himself as he spun
once, the small boy giggling before burying his face into the omega’s shoulder.
The blond was struggling to adjust his coat while wrangling the toddler, when
he felt a hand brush up against his neck.
“You shouldn’t be lifting him, Yuri.”
The omega turned sharply, feet slipping out from under him as the child in his
arms threw off his balance. The alpha’s hand caught the blond’s elbow, stopping
his from smacking into the ice, hauling him roughly to his feet. "Where are the
twins?"
“With the ladies at the front desk. You know they love to fawn over them...and
obviously you shouldn’t be doing this anymore,” Victor growled as he gently
lifted the child from Yuri’s arms and motioned for the blond to leave the ice.
“Papa! Papa! Papa!” the pup chanted happily as he nuzzled his face into the
dark fabric of the alpha’s sweater.
“Yes, sweet boy,” Victor said warmly, his nose brushing up against the silken
strands of the child’s silver hair. “Unfortunately we need to go. Your mama is
supposed to be in bed.”
“Victor-”
“Hush.”
Yuri nodded as Victor grabbed him by the chin, forcing their eyes to meet.
“I thought allowing you to come to practice with me would be a privilege you’d
enjoy. However, going forward, I think it would be best if you and Feliks just
stayed home with the twins,” the alpha snapped, motioning for the blond to head
towards the rink exit.
Yuri stared down at his skates as he followed the alpha off the ice, his hands
absently rubbing over his large stomach and the pup who currently occupied the
small space. One more boy...another little life he would be bringing into this
world, and he was sure there would be more to come.
Since having Feliks and the twins, Yuri had been on lock down. The doctor had
warned them about having more children, begging Victor to wait and allow Yuri
to heal, but that hadn't lasted for very long. As soon as Yuri had began to
show signs of being on the mend, Victor had spared no time in beginning the
process of breeding the omega again. He had kept Yuri in a small bedroom of the
apartment he purchased for them. The dark curtains blotted out the sweet
sunlight that dared to try and peek into the room, while the omega spent most
days on his back, the alpha pounding into him, relentless. During his heats,
which hit him harder and longer now that he lived with an alpha, the omega
wasn’t allowed to leave the bed for anything, his body becoming a disgusting
mess of bodily fluids as his slick coated the bed and his aching hole throbbed,
lazily oozing the alpha’s seed. Yuri had gotten pregnant three months after
having Feliks, and his body hated him for it. And even now, after getting a
break from babies after the birth of their twins...his body still revolted.
Anton would be his first child in years, and part of Yuri had been grateful for
the break.
His room was dark and damp, with only a bed and desk filling the cold space.
The omega had been trapped there ever since Victor had purchased him, paying a
king’s ransom to the omega’s grandfather, for not only for the beta’s silence
but for complete ownership of the blond. Yuri had insisted the older man
accept, much to Nikolai’s chagrin. He begged his grandfather to take the money,
telling him constantly about how much he wanted to be with Victor and that
everything would be so amazing for them both if the beta let him leave. Yuri
knew his grandfather would be financially set for life, and would be able to
upgrade from their small two bedroom apartment to something nicer. He would
never have to work again, and could afford anything he’d ever need. It had hurt
the omega to leave his home, but Yuri wanted nothing more than to see his
grandfather live the rest of his life in comfort.
The omega did nothing but cry for the first few weeks, but grew increasingly
accustomed to his new life with a deep sense of self loathing washing over him
with each passing day. The alpha monitored every aspect of Yuri’s day to day
life. What he ate, who he talked to, how much time he spent with their sweet
little pup… everything was scheduled and evaluated by Victor. Yuri was even
granted time with his grandfather once a week, and would often take Feliks and
the twins to visit the nice townhouse where the beta now lived.
Yuri flopped down onto the nearest bench, struggling to remove his skates while
maneuvering around his large belly. After slipping his feet into soft boots, he
glanced over to where Victor knelt in front of the squirming pup, his hands
gently removing the child’s ice skates as he leaned close to press a small peck
to the little boy’s nose. The child’s face lit up with glee as he pressed his
face to the alpha’s with a sloppy, open-mouthed drool kiss. The omega’s heart
sank as he watched them, tears pricking the corners of his eyes.
He would be trapped like this forever. Miserable. Pregnant. Utterly alone.

Chapter Summary
     The struggles of feeding.
“Vitya, please stop. It hurts so bad,” Yuri whimpered as he tried to push the
alpha away from his chest. The omega’s thin hands were buried in Victor’s hair
as the older Russian pawed at his tender nipples. Victor was draped carefully
over the omega’s body, mindful of Yuri’s large protruding stomach. The blond
shuddered as the alpha suckled at the engorged flesh, cheeks going pink as a
quiet moan escaped his lips. Yuri tried to push the pleasurable sensations from
his mind while his alpha nursed from his tiny breasts. “Vitya, stop.”
“Yura, this will get your breasts nice and full for our pups.”
“But...but my milk is for our babies. Let me just try to get Feliks to feed
again-”
“He uses the bottle now, and I don’t want to confuse him. These twins will
nurse from you when they are born. You barely made enough milk for Feliks when
he was still nursing from you and I’m not having that happen again,” Victor
grumbled around a mouthful of one of Yuri’s small breasts as his fingers
pinched at the other. The silver haired alpha could feel a slow trickle of milk
beginning to coat his fingers as he continued to toy with the omega’s nipple.
His smiled around the blond’s soft nippled as he rubbed the liquid between his
fingers. “You’re going to need a lot more to feed the twins, and I read that
this will help you.”
The blond’s chest was only slightly swollen. And while it was still early in
his pregnancy, he knew Victor was right. Yuri had greatly struggled after the
birth of his last pup to produce milk, unsure if the issue was caused by the
lack of weight gained during his pregnancy or some sort of hormone imbalance.
He had tried everything from supplements to using a breast pump to help with
the flow, but nothing had worked. The blond had begged Victor to let him stop,
worried that Feliks would not be getting enough nutrients and eventually the
alpha had relented. The omega had been forced to wean Feliks early, and bottle
feed the pup much to his alpha’s protest. Victor had insisted Yuri keep trying
to breastfeed, which only ended in Yuri crying in frustration as the couple
finally came to the conclusion that Yuri’s milk wasn’t enough for their growing
pup.
“This isn’t working...all you’re doing is making me wet,” Yuri admitted with
another soft moan. He could feel his hole beginning to make the back of his
pants damp as Victor continued to tease him.
“I’m doing this to make you a better omega.”
“Vitya, I don’t want to be trying to nurse our pups, and suddenly have thoughts
about you doing this to me while I’m trying to feed our babies.”
“Then don’t be such a wanton thing.”
“I can’t help feeling the way I feel while you do this to me,” Yuri whimpered,
successfully pushing the alpha away and curling in on himself in the process.
“I feels different than when I was trying to feed Feliks.”
Victor growled as he stood up from the bed in frustration. “You aren’t even
serious about this. I just want you to take care of our children like a proper
omega.”
“I do want that, and i’m willing to try whatever you suggest...this...this just
a lot of stimulation for me to try and handle.”
Victor sighed, running his hands through his hair as he paced around their
dimly lit bedroom. He braced himself on their shared chest of drawers as he
struggled to come up with another idea. Yuri could see the side of the alpha’s
face in the mirror on the top of the chest. The alpha’s lips were set into a
thin line as he thought. “I’ve heard there are pills you can take. Maybe we can
look into getting you some of them.”
“You are so worried about the way I’m feeding them-”
“I’m a symbol of Russian perfection, and I want my omega to be the same. That
means I want you round with my pups and ready to do whatever it means to take
care of them. Do you not want the same?” Victor snapped, turned to face Yuri
with his face full of anger.
“Of course I want to take care of them,” Yuri said quickly as he sat up,
kneeling on the edge of their bed with his shirt still unbuttoned. “My
body...my body just isn’t responding and I don’t know why. It’s my fault,
Vitya.”
“You’re young, and that could be part of the problem, but I want our children
to be fed naturally.”
“I’ll try my best…”
“We will see about the pills during your next doctor visit. I want our twins
healthy, and I’ll do anything for these pups,” Victor said firmly as he sat
back down the the edge of the bed, blue eyes staring at the omega next to him.
One of the alpha’s large hands moved to cup the blond’s round stomach, the
calloused flesh was warm against the omega’s smooth skin.
“I will do anything as well,” Yuri said in a voice barely above a whisper as he
put a thin hand on Victor’s thigh.
“Then do this for me. Lay back and let me help you get ready to feed our babies
when they get here.”
Yuri nodded, scooting back to rest against a pile of pillows built against
their headboard as Victor joined him, the alpha resumed his nursing as the
blond wiggled in pleasured discomfort against his larger form. It was for their
babies...he needed to be perfect.

Chapter Summary
     A family photo.
“Just settle them down,” Victor growled as Yuri hugged the two sobbing children
to his chest. Their little blond heads trembling at the bright lights and
random people milling about around them. “Their faces are going to be blotchy
by the time we are ready to take this picture.”
The family had been up since six, and Yuri had taken painstaking detail to
ensure that they all matched and were complimentarily dressed as a family unit
for the photo they would be taking later in the day. All three of his boys were
dressed in thoughtfully picked out sweaters, faces washed and hair lovingly
brushed. Yuri had been so careful when feeding each of them breakfast to ensure
that they didn’t get messy. Nikolai and Mikhail had been content to sit in
their mother’s arms all morning, but Yuri had brought Feliks close to tears
when he refused to let the child play outside in the slushy, grey snow with
Makkachin. Struggling to hide his amused grin as the silver haired child
stomped around the living room with the poodle playfully nosing at his side. The
omega had been trying so hard to please his alpha, but also fighting to keep
his children happy at the same time.
The omega had felt he was treading on thin ice with the alpha since he had
spent his last heat on suppressants. Yuri had been granted a break from his
marathon of pregnancies after the difficulty he had faced near the end of his
previous one with the twins. The omega had managed to throw his back out at
some point during the seventh month, due to the large amount of weight he had
gained while carrying the two pups around and had been put on bedrest for the
rest of the pregnancy. Yuri had genuinely never been so miserable and so
ashamed of himself each time he made eye contact with his alpha during those
last two months. So, after the twins were born the blond made it his goal to
ensure that he would be the perfect house omega, but currently found himself
failing as he tried desperately to keep his children calm while they waited.
It had been Victor’s idea from the start, but as the morning had progressed the
alpha had quickly shifted the blame to Yuri, grumbling lowly about how the
blond just had to have a family photo to hang above their fireplace, seeming to
have completely forgotten that the he had planned on using the picture for a
promotional for the new skating school he was starting in a few months.
The omega cooed softly to the green eyed children that clung to his shoulders
with their soft, small hands, bouncing them lightly before turning to Victor
with a frown as he fought to juggle the wriggling pups. The alpha was “Could
you take one of them? I think they are just hungry and I can’t feed both of
them at the same time.”
The alpha wordlessly accepted the closest pup, wandering away as Yuri knelt
down and struggled to fish a bottle from the bag at his feet. The child in the
omega’s arms kept wailing as Feliks toddled over and began to rub gently at the
smaller pup’s back.
“Why is he crying?”
“He’s just tired and hungry. You know how little babies are, zvyozdochka. They
need lots of love,” Yuri said with a smile as Feliks’s button nose wrinkled as
his younger brother’s shrill cry continued.
“I’m a big boy,” the pup grumbled in a way that would have made Yuri laugh if
he wasn’t struggling to soothe his other child. Feliks was freshly four and had
decided that he was now an adult, much to the blond omega’s dismay.
“You’re a big boy now, but you were a little baby once and you’ll always be my
baby,” Yuri said quietly, trying poorly to disguise the exasperation that began
to creep into his voice.
“I wanna help, mama,” Feliks grumbled as he joined Yuri in his search of the
oversized tote, throwing toys and blankets onto the floor of the portrait
studio much to the omega's chagrin.
“Thank you baby, but mama has got it under control, ” the omega said as he
slipped the bottle from the bag, easing the rubber nipple into the child’s
mouth. The blond child’s eyes closed happily as he nursed. “See, he’s happy
now.”
“Can I hold him?”
“Not right now. I’m sorry,” Yuri smiled as he placed a kiss to the top of the
silver haired child’s head. “But you are my number one helper, and I’m lucky to
have you. Will you pick up everything we’ve tossed on the floor? It would be a
big help to mama.”
Feliks nodded quickly and scurried around the omega’s feet, tossing everything
back into the bag as he made it into a game for himself. “Good?”
“Yes, you’re so helpful, zvyozdochka.”
Yuri’s gaze traveled across the room to where Victor stood with Niki. The pup
had calmed and was focusing on trying to fit his small fist into his tiny baby
mouth as the alpha gently rubbed his cheek against the top of the child’s head.
The omega could tell that the older man was whispering lowly to the child, his
lips moving slightly against the pup’s hair as he nuzzled the baby. If it
wasn’t him it would have been an image the omega would have stored forever in
the back of his mind, but Yuri had never been able to push away the loathing he
felt for his alpha whenever he looked upon Victor’s smug face.
The omega sidled over with Feliks at his hip, placing a kiss to Victor’s cheek
as he attempted to quell the alpha’s sour mood. “You’re so good with them.”
“Of course I am,” Victor said quickly. “I’m their father. So, I better be.”
“I was just trying to compliment you...you saw how I was struggling to get him
to calm down.”
“Thank you,” the alpha nodded as his aqua eyes raked up and down Yuri as he
seemed to be considering something as he traded children with Yuri, carefully
taking Mikhail and placing Nikolai in the blond’s arms. “You still need to feed
Nikolai. So, give me Mikhail,” he paused for a moment, placing one finger to
his lips before he spoke, allowing the omega to begin feeding the other pup
before speaking. “When is your next heat? Soon if I remember correctly.”
Yuri stopped himself from frowning as he nodded slowly. “Yes…”
“Good.”
***** Presenting *****
Chapter Summary
     Feliks comes of age.
“Feliks, you have to open the door,” Yuri said softly, as he waited with Sergei
balanced on his hip. The toddler pulled playfully at the end of the omega’s
long braid, which usually Yuri wouldn’t have tolerated. However, he decided
that this current moment to allow the small child to do whatever he wanted, as
long as he didn’t start crying as well.
“I’m not opening the door,” came a muffled reply a few seconds later. Yuri
could hear that he was still crying, his choked sobs causing the blond omega to
panic as he tried to calm his son with a door separating them.
“Please, Feliks, please let me come in,” the pup in Yuri’s arms was beginning
to get restless as the blond hovered by the closed door.
It had been unfortunate enough to happen on a school day. Yuri had been doing
laundry with his newest little silver haired pup, Sergei, strapped to his back
when he had received the call. The blond had dropped everything, packing up his
two youngest children before hurrying off to Feliks’s school to pick up his
oldest child. The silver haired pup had cried the entire ride home , face red
as he refused to meet the blond omega’s gaze. Feliks had ran up the steps to
their townhouse, slamming the door behind him as Yuri got his other children
out of the car. By the time the omega had made it into the house, his oldest
had locked himself in the bathroom.
“Feliks, please…”
The door inched open. Yuri took the opportunity immediately and pushed his way
into the small bathroom. The scent was thick; a familiar sickening sweetness
that permeated into everything, linger on everything it touched, leaving
alpha’s in a fuzzy haze, but doing nothing to other omegas.
It was Feliks’s first heat. His first experience in the role of an omega. Yet,
here he sat… a small quivering heap of tears and slick on the floor of the
bathroom he shared with the rest of his siblings.
“Let’s go lay down,” Yuri said gently as he sank down to Feliks’s level.
“Why is this happening to me,” the pup cried as he scrubbed his hands over his
face.
“It’s perfectly natural-”
“It’s gross,” Feliks whimpered. “I feel so gross.”
“I know it’s uncomfortable, but-”
“I wanted to be like daddy,” Feliks whimpered, face hidden in his hands.
He pulled the child close with his free arm. Burying his face into the child’s
hair, letting the ripe new scent fill his nose. “It’s a beautiful thing...I
promise.”
“It’s so unfair mama.”
“I know, but we have to deal with what we are given in life,” Yuri hugged
Feliks tightly one last time as he slowly helped his oldest pup to his feet.
They settled together in Feliks’s bed, the smaller omega’s head was pillowed on
Yuri’s swollen stomach, Sergei cradled in the crook of the blond omega’s arm
while the older pup continued to cry.
“He’s going to hate me,” the young omega sobbed as he buried his face into
Yuri’s stomach. “This has to be some horrible mistake, mama.”
“I’m sorry you feel that way, zvyozdochka,” Yuri admitted bitterly as he
smoothed down his son’s silver hair. “I was excited to hear that you
presented...excited to share something like this with you.”
“I don’t want to be an omega...I don’t want to just have someone’s pups and not
have my own job or anything,” Feliks wailed.
Yuri felt tears prick at the corner of his eyes as he listened to his son
outline the fact that he wanted to be nothing like the blond omega. This would
have never been the lifestyle he would have chosen for himself. Yuri had
dreams...he had goals, but he let this happen…
“You can do whatever you want when you’re an omega,” Yuri whispered softly.
“You don’t even have to have babies.”
He was finally getting Feliks to settle down when Victor appeared at the edge
of the doorway. Yuri hadn’t been expecting the alpha home for another three
hours. The blond looked panicked as the alpha stepped into the room, clearing
his throat to make his presence known.
“The school called me.”
Feliks tensed at the sound of his father’s voice, hiding his face in Yuri’s
shoulder as his crying began again. “I’m sorry they called you, daddy. I’m
really sorry-”
“Don’t be,” Victor said quickly, crossing the room in a few short strides to
sit on the edge of the bed, one hand resting on Feliks’s foot as he spoke
gently to his oldest. “I’m happy. I really am. It just makes me sad to see you
growing up so fast and you’re not my little boy anymore.”
Feliks pushed away from Yuri to wrap his arms around his father’s neck as he
continued to cry, burying his face in the crook of the alpha’s neck as he
sobbed. “I’m still your little boy. I really-”
“Shhhhh,” Victor said in a voice barely above a whisper as he held the child
tightly in his arms, his hand rubbed small circles over Feliks’s back as the
child continued to babble his apologies. “There is no need to be upset. I’m so
sorry that this happened to you while at school. I think the best thing would
be for you to lie down and rest. Just relax, pup.”
The pair settled Feliks under the thin blanket on his bed before exiting out
into the hallway. Yuri followed closely behind Victor as the alpha stalked down
the hallway. The tension between them kept either from speaking until they were
out of earshot. They stood on opposite sides of the living room. Yuri cleared
his throat before approaching the alpha timidly.
“That was very sweet of you…” Yuri mumbled as he bounced Sergei one his hip.
Victor turned to Yuri with a sour look on his face as he eased the pup out of
the blond’s thin arms, making his way toward the kitchen with a single glance
over his shoulder back to the omega. “I hope they all don’t end up like you.”

Chapter Summary
     Victor takes a second omega
The blond paced the small length of the hotel room, gently rocking Lev in his
arms as he waited. The rest of the children had stayed in St. Petersburg with
Victor’s mother while the pair had made this trip to Japan; the strange silence
and lack of chaos made the blond nervous as he devoted all of his attention to
the most recent addition to his pack while anticipating his alpha’s return at
any moment. Lev babbled quietly to the omega, lightening Yuri’s mood as he
cooed softly to the silver haired pup.
Victor stumbled into the room a little after two am, flicking on the small desk
lamp with unsteady hands as he slumped down onto the armchair across from where
Yuri sat alone on the still made hotel bed. The blond cleared his throat as
Victor began to remove his shoes.
“You’re still up?”
“The time difference has Lev off of his schedule,” Yuri grumbled as one of the
small child’s hands began to tug at the loose strands of his hair. “Plus he
never wants to fall asleep without you here.”
“He’s a daddy’s boy for sure,” Victor said with a laugh as he crossed the room
to smooth down the miniscule amount of hair on the pup’s head. “Well, the good
news is that I think we’ll only stay here for a few more days.”
“Such a short trip…” Yuri remarked as he settled back against the bed’s tall
headboard, trying to give Victor room to join him, but the alpha had begun to
walk around the hotel room, slowly shedding the rest of his clothing.
“Well, I think he’s going to be a good addition to our pack. So, I think he’s
going to be coming back to Russia with us.”
“You decided so quickly-”
“When you know, you know. I think he’s going to be great. He’s always been a
big fan of mine apparently and has kept up with us in the magazines. Plus he’s
really excited to meet the children.”
The blond’s nose wrinkled, hands instinctively tightening around Lev as he
considered the another omega trying to hold one of his children. A fan...the
thought was disgusting. “You really shouldn’t make any decisions before he
meets the children...they should be a part of this and it seems a little
unsettling that he reads about us in the news...”
“Yuri, I know what’s best for us,” Victor growled, dangerously low as his blue
eyes were sharply focused on the blond omega.
“I wasn’t questioning you.”
“It sounded like you might have been.”
“No.”
“Yura, another omega would make things a lot easier for you too.”
“I do a good job-”
“You do okay for having so many children while so young,” Victor remarked
quietly as he sat down on the edge of the bed, patting Yuri’s knee as he
grabbed his phone from where he’d placed it on the nightstand.
Yuri blinked back tears as he held his pup close to him, the child’s face
burrowed into the crook of his neck as Yuri watched the alpha grin at his
cellphone screen. The blond assumed it was most likely some sort of love note
from the other omega.
“We’re all going to get dinner tomorrow. You’re going to love him.”
No I won’t.
Yuri had determined that he was destined to hate everything about the other
omega as soon as he laid eyes on him. His stupid round face. His dumb laugh.
His ugly dark eyes. Yuri pushed his food around his plate as he watched the
shameless flirting that was occurring right in front of him. He couldn’t shake
the sickening amount of jealously that burned through every nerve in his body
as he watched with narrowed eyes as Victor sweetly courted the Japanese omega,
the way his thin fingers were playing with the dark strands of the other man’s
hair. Yuri could feel the pain of his teeth digging into his bottom lip as he
fought the urge to reach across the table and slap hisalpha’s hands away.
However, he stayed quiet through the entire meal, choosing to focus all of his
energy into keeping Lev entertained and calm while Victor chatted happily. Yuri
remained silent until the taxi ride back to their hotel. Victor was all smiles,
posting a photo of him and the new omega to Instagram. The blond turned to look
at the alpha, mouth set into a thin line as he waited for a chance to speak.
“Did you need something, Yura?”
“Promise...promise you’ll remember you’re mine.”
“Yura-”
“Say you’ll remember.”
“I will.”
“Say it.”
“I will remember.”
Yuri cradled Lev closer to him, wanting to believe him...but part of him knew
he’d already been replaced.

He was a sweating panting mess of bodily fluids and hormones as Victor laid him
down on the locker room floor. Yuri’s body seemed to move on it’s own accord,
his hips wiggling in search of any kind of contact, any kind of friction to
relieve the building pressure in his loins. He mewled pathetically, small hands
clutching at the fabric of Victor’s shirt as the older skater tried to remove
the omega’s damp, slick ruined pants. Yuri needed more from him, his voice
barely above a whisper as he begged. Victor managed to remove the omega’s
pants, cupping the blond’s hard cock in one of his hands as the other reached
around to press against the omega’s wet hole. Slick oozed from the pink,
winking muscle as it pleaded to be taken. Yuri hated the teasing already, his
hips pushed down to try and slip one of the alpha’s fingers into his entrance.
“Be patient, Yura.”
“Please help me, Vitya. My body feels on fire.”
The alpha’s blue eyes watched the blond’s every movement, from the slight
twitching in his hands, to the way his hips weakly thrust up to try and meet to
bulge the blond could see in the alpha’s pants. The silver haired skater was
still fully dressed, his own pants soaked in Yuri’s slick from where the blond
had sat in his lap.
“Vitya...I feel so sick...I need your help.”
“You’re such a mess,” the alpha said lowly, almost dangerously as he brought
his face closer to the omega, his breath hot against Yuri’s ear.
“I’m sorry,” Yuri cried, body wiggling against the cold tile at his back. “I’m
sorry I’m so messy, Vitya.”
Victor’s finger’s dug into the white flesh of Yuri’s ass cheeks as he parted
them, face leaning in to take one quick taste. He could feel the slick clinging
to his tongue, savoring the delicious flavor as he slipped two fingers into
Yuri’s entrance. ‘Your little hole is so sweet. I could just eat it up if you’d
let me.”
“I’d let you do anything-”
“Don’t be such a wanton little thing, Yura,” Victor said teasingly, fingers
scissoring inside of the blond. “You’re such a little whore right now with your
legs spread and your little pucker gushing for me. I like it…”
“Please help me,” Yuri sobbed, the pressure in his stomach causing his body to
ache with cramps as Victor continued to finger him.
“Do you want to be my omega?’
“What…”
“Do you want to be my omega? Mine and mine alone? I’ll only help you if you
agree.”
“Yes,” Yuri whimpered, spreading his legs as wide as he could, granting the
alpha full access to the lower half of his body. “I’ll be your omega if you
make me stop hurting.”
“And you’ll tell everyone you agreed? You agreed to be my omega.”
“Yes, I promise,” Yuri said quietly. “Just make me stop hurting.”
“I can do that, Yura. I can take your pain away.”
Victor slid his pants down, freeing his rock hard erection from where it had
been trapped. His body screaming with excitement as it anticipated what would
be coming next. He lined up his cock as he gave a few more pumps with his
fingers, smiling at the pleasured expressions the blond wore with even the
simplest of touches. He pulled his fingers out, loving the way one long strand
of slick stuck to them as he wiped them on the leg of his pants.
The alpha thrust into the omega. Yuri’s body went tense at the sharp intrusion,
tears streaming down his face as Victor looked down at him. The blond’s legs
were spread wide, the burn not even registering as the alpha shifted his
position, bending the blond in half so that his knees almost rested on his
shoulders. Yuri could feel the slick that still gushed from his hole around
Victor’s hard cock. The alpha’s smell was intoxicating, and overpowered the
scent of the omega. Yuri’s eyes practically rolled back into his head as Victor
rolled his hips forward with one testing thrust.
Incoherent words of encouragement bubbled forth from the blond’s lips as he
tried to rock his hips against the alpha, body urging Victor onward. The silver
haired skater began a slow rhythm, grunting into each thrust as the blond
eagerly met his hips each time, soft moans escaping Yuri’s pink lips. His pace
was punishing after a short adjustment period. The alpha pounded into the omega
relentlessly as the blond sobbed his name like some sort of prayer. Victor
buried his face in Yuri’s neck, nosing at the spot he intended to bite as he
felt himself getting closer and closer to finishing. He growled into the
blond's ear as his seed erupted from his cock, and his knot began to swell to
lock the pair together. Victor bit down, drawing a scream from Yuri’s throat as
the alpha lapped at the blood that flowed from the blond. Victor pulled away
biting at the blond’s shoulder as Yuri whimpered.
“You’re too big,” Yuri cried, not letting go of the alpha as his body trembled.
“Your knot is hurting me-”
“You asked for this. Don’t let that fact slip your mind.”

Yuri awoke abruptly. His heart pounding and he clutched the blanket draped
around him, wildly looking around the room as he tried to ground himself in the
present. His skin was slick with a cold layer of sweat as he glanced at the
glowing red clock on his nightstand, it was hours before he needed to be awake.
Yuri sighed as he ran a hand through his hair, eyes beginning to adjust to the
low light. His green eyes settled on the bars of the crib on the other side of
the room, and the small child that peered out to where the omega sat in his
bed.
“Can’t sleep baby?” Yuri cooed as he left the bed, scooping up the small pup in
his arms and moving to sit in the large rocking chair in the corner of his
room. He nuzzled against the soft dusting of silver hair on the crown of Lev’s
little head, getting lost in the comforting scent of his youngest pup.
The blond’s nose wrinkled when he heard the sounds of exaggerated moans and the
soft moving of a mattress from just beyond the wall behind him. The Japanese
omega’s heat has started yesterday and the pair had been going at it for hours.
Yuri hated they he and his children were trapped in their house while this was
going on. He had begged Victor to take Yuuri to a hotel for their first heat
together, to give their family some time to adjust to the new omega. However,
the alpha had resisted and here they were now. He knew his own heat would be
coming in less than a week, hating the way his body was betraying him and
putting him into competition with the other omega.
Yuri closed his eyes and started to rock, humming softly to himself and the
small child in his arms as he imagined himself elsewhere, anywhere that they
could be happy, even if it was just for this moment.

Chapter Summary
     Two very different omegas
Yuri hummed softly to himself as he stood at the stove, Lev balanced on his hip
while Sergei clung to the hem of the omega's lavender shirt. His free hand was
gently stirring the large stock pot of kasha, the buttery scent filling the
space with a comforting richness that brought a small smile to the blond's
face.
He had been waiting to discuss newest pregnancy with Victor since he had missed
his heat the previous week, only letting the nervousness gnaw at him when he
was alone. The omega was unsure of how his children would react, but knew they
would piece everything together soon enough. He pushed his nerves aside and
continued to prepare breakfast.
The omega chuckled as he felt the pup at his feet nuzzling against his thigh.
Yuri glanced down as Sergei stared up at him, a sweet little carbon copy of
Victor, complete with shining aqua blue eyes. The pup’s toothy grin stretched
wide across when the blond blew a kiss to the down to him.
“Mama loves you, Sergei.”
The pup pressed his face against Yuri’s thigh, hiding as he giggled wildly
before pulling a small section of the blond’s shirt into his mouth.
“Are my babies hungry?” The blond asked softly, turning away from the stove and
pulling his shirt away from the small child’s clutches. “Don’t eat Mama’s
clothes, sweetie.”
Yuri pressed a quick kiss to one of Lev’s round, pink cheeks as he ushered
Sergei toward his seat at the dining room table while settling his youngest pup
into the dark wood high chair that each of his children had used over the
years. The omega's eyes glanced over to the wall clock while removing the
porridge from the heat of the burner.
“Feliks, Nikolai, Mikhail, Anton,” Yuri called down the hallway to where most
of his sons shared bedrooms. The omega fished several colorful bowls down from
the cabinet. “You're going to be late for school if you don’t hurry.”
“We are coming,” came Feliks’s exasperated voice only a moment later.
Yuri rolled his eyes as he checked the clock again...they still had a little
time left. He began to prepare each child's breakfast in the way he knew they
liked it best. The blond cut apple slices for Feliks and Anton, while the twins
prefered some mix of berries. Sergei was happy to put anything in his mouth,
but Lev had just started to transition to solid foods and was proving to
already be a picky eater similar to Mikhail.
They filed in with a loud frenzy that Yuri had grown so used to over the years
that his pack had grown to this size it was now. After gathering their dishes
and lining the school bound children up by the door, Yuri frowned when he
looked at Nikolai.
“Where is your coat, Niki?” Yuri said with a frown as he inspected each of his
pups before they headed down to the car.
“In Papa’s office...he was in there with Yuuri and I didn’t want to go in,” the
blond child said quietly as he stood with his brothers by the front door.
“Well, I’ll go get it for you. It is too windy for you to go out today without
it.”
Nikolai nodded before whispering a quiet thank you as Yuri hurried down the
hall.
The omega had always told his children to never enter their father's office if
the door was closed. More recently Victor had been used the space to spend
private time with his new omega, which had caused a rise in the curiosity of
the brood of children. However, they were well trained, not allowing their
curiosity to get the better of them and Yuri considered himself lucky that none
of them really had a rebellious nature...yet.
The blond paused outside of the heavy wooden door. He could hear the hushed
voices on the other side of the door.
“We can try again in a few months,” Victor said tightly. Yuri could tell he was
holding back, his voice always sounded like that when he was trying to spare
someone's feelings.
“I'm sorry, Victor…”
“You said you were fertile.”
“I mean I've never been pregnant before, and my doctor in Japan said I was
perfectly healthy.”
“Well there seems to be an issue with you. It's obviously not me,” Victor said
with a laugh. “Yuri is already pregnant again.”
“I know-”
Yuri knocked softly on the door and waited for the alpha to ask him to enter.
He crossed into the brightly lit room, frowning as his eyes shifted between
Yuuri and Victor, the tension thick around all of them.
“I'm just looking for Nikolai’s coat. The boys are going to be late-”
“I was going to give it to him, and I can drop them off on my way to practice,”
Victor said quickly as he held up the garment in question.
“I can take them, Vitya-”
“No I want you to contact Dr. Revenoskiv and see about getting an appointment
for later this week,” Victor said warmly as he pressed his palm to the blond's
stomach.
“I...I will do that,” Yuri mumbled as he felt his cheeks go red.
“You never let me down, Yura,” Victor said in a voice barely above a whisper as
he pushed past the blond and put the door.
Silence hung between the two omegas as Yuri tried to think of something to ease
the awkwardness.
“You shouldn’t feel so bad,” Yuri said quietly as he tried to make eye contact
with the Japanese omega. “I am just really lucky-”
“Or a freak of nature,” Yuuri snapped as he looked up into the blond’s face,
tears streaming down his cheeks as he spoke. “All Victor has to do is fucking
look at you and you’re pregnant. It’s...it’s not fair. You already have six
children. All I want is one…”
“You’ll have one, but now isn’t the right time-”
“What do you know about the right time? You had your first fucking heat and he
knocked you up. He told me that when we started courting.”
“Well it did happen that way.”
“He just settled on you because you were pregnant-”
“That’s not true, you are just saying things to make yourself feel better and I
don’t regret having any of my children with Victor,” Yuri’s face felt hot. He
chewed on his bottom lip as he resisted the urge to lash out, crossing his arms
over his chest. “I am blessed with the children that I have. Hopefully one day
you will have children too.”
“Maybe I'll get pregnant when Victor stops wasting his knot on you.”
“I doubt it,” Yuri snapped. “But I'll leave you. My children need me.”
He turned to leave, pausing for a moment to look over his shoulder to where
Yuuri stood beside Victor's desk. “Jealousy doesn’t look good on you by the
way.”
Yuri slammed the door behind him, sighing as he headed back to the kitchen to
where Lev and Sergei still sat eating. He slumped down into the nearest chair
to the pups, brushing Sergei’s hair away from his face as he watched the pup
stuff more fruit into his mouth. Yuri knew he was lucky...but it had never been
his choice.
***** A Reunion *****
Chapter Summary
     Introducing Otabae
Yuri paced near the barrier with Lev strapped to his chest as he watched Georgi
perform the last few jumps in his free skate. As his stomach continued to grow,
he wouldn’t be able to carry the pup around like this for much longer, but he
loved the close contact with the child. He bounced the Lev in time with the
classical music as he thought of how he would have performed to the piece. The
choreography just wasn’t right... The omega pushed down the bitterness that
threatened to spoil this moment with this children, he was determined to enjoy
their first competition as a family. Victor often left him in the hotel during
competitions when they were first together. The blond could remember sitting in
front of the small hotel room television set trying to nurse Feliks as he
watched Victor perform the free skate he had come up with just after the birth
of their first child. However, now that the alpha had such a large family to
contend with it, leaving the group in the hotel was no longer an option.
“Where papa?” Sergei’s asked as he settled back into Mila’s lap with a huff.
“He’s getting ready for his performance,” Yuri sighed as he adjusted the soft
knit hat on Lev’s head, glancing over to the rest of his children. They were
seated with other skaters to avoid the constant barrage of fans and reporters.
It had been difficult to navigate all six of his children to a place he felt
they could be safe. Mila had luckily been available to usher the herd of
Nikiforov children as the blond omega fretted while traversing the large crowd
around them. “He will be on after two more people, and we need to be patient as
we wait for him.”
Yuri could help but smile as he watched the way that all of his children seemed
to be engrossed with the dark haired Russian’s quick movements on the ice. The
older boys had been skating for a while now, and Yuri knew that Sergei wouldn’t
be far behind them. Feliks had just started competing in the novice level, and
his skills were unmatched by most of the young men in his age group. Yuri knew
the silver haired omega wanted to be like his father, and he was confident
Feliks would be just as great if not better as he grew older.
“Papa is better than him,” Anton mumbled as Georgi was taking his final bows.
“Georgi has a lot of emotion, but Papa is better technically,” Feliks
corrected, pulling his coat tighter around him to shield against the cold air
in the arena.
“Your Papa would be so happy to hear that you think that,” Mila chuckled as
Yuri rolled his eyes.
“Mama, is uncle Yuuri going to be skating today?” Nikolai asked with a hint of
mischievousness in his green eyes.
“No, he will not be skating and for the last time Yuuri is not your uncle,” the
blond said quickly, his tone warning the pup to stop with his line of
questioning. They had had this conversation many times before...
“Well he didn’t give birth to me so I’m not calling him my mama-”
“Nikolai, please not here,” Yuri sighed. The blond’s eyes flicked over to the
Japanese omega as he tried to conceal the frown he made when he thought about
Yuuri and Victor together. The alpha had asked their children to treat the dark
haired omega in the same way they treated Yuri. Most of the other pups had
silently agreed with their father while Feliks and Nikolai made it clear that
they wanted no part of it.
“Sorry mama.”
Yuuri sat on the far edge of the group chatting happily with Phichit as he
tried to distance himself from the blond omega. They hadn’t been speaking much
since Yuri had tried to talk to him about pregnancy. The Japanese omega wanted
no relationship with the Russian, and had done everything in his power to avoid
Yuri.
Yuri recognized most of the faces around them, choosing to scan through the
crowd as the ice was cleared for the next performance. Sergei had broken away
from Mila to cling to Yuri’s leg, he had been the omega’s neediest child to
date and now was no different. The pup’s wide eyes were fixated on something he
wanted, Yuri could tell by the way his lower lip wobbled as the pup began to
whimper.
“Mama I want his bear,” Sergei whined as he tugged on the hem of Yuri’s olive
green jacket, pointing to where Otabek Altin sat with one of his signature
stuffed animals on his lap. Yuri had watched the Kazakh man perform in several
Grand Prix Finals with Victor, but hadn't ever spoken to Otabek at any of the
banquets. He had always appeared so reserved, and the blond had never dared to
stray far from Victor’s side during the events. “Will you ask him if I can have
his bear?”
“Sweetie, we can’t just ask people for their things and expect them to give
them to us-”
“But mama I want it,” Sergei whimpered as he tried to pull Yuri closer to where
the Kazakh man sat. “He is too old for bears.”
“Sergei Victorovich Nikiforov, you will stop this-”
“He can have it,” Otabek mumbled as he moved from his seat to stand before the
omega and pups. The alpha was taller than Yuri would have expected, his tan
form looming over Sergei as he held the plush bear at a level that the pup was
easily able to snatch it from his hands. “I have so many like them at
home...and it’s hard to say no to someone so cute.”
Yuri smiled up into the Kazakh man’s face as he held out his hand. “I don’t
think we’ve met before, but I’ve seen you perform enough times that we might as
well be old friends. I’m-”
“Yuri Plisetsky, I met you once very long time ago, back when you were still a
skater. However, now you are Victor Nikiforov’s omega,” Otabek mumbled,
accepting the blond’s hand and giving it a firm shake. “I attended a camp
taught by Yakov Feltsman, but it was a really long time ago. Yet, I still
remember your eyes. I thought you had the unforgettable eyes of a soldier. I
figured I would be skating against you someday, but I really admire how devoted
you are to having a family.”
Yuri blushed, taking his hand back and curling his fingers around the back of
Lev’s head as the child began to fuss. “Thank you.”
“Do you still skate?”
“I teach the children, and leave the competing to Victor. Our oldest pup,
Feliks, just started at the novice level.”
“It is always exciting to watch someone you know have their first time to shine
on the ice. My younger sister started competing just this last year as well.
Maybe we will be seeing more of each other if they end up being in the same
competitions. I live in St. Petersburg now, and most of my family moved up here
to skate as well.”
“That would be great, but I have to warn you that I turn into a neurotic
skating parent whenever any of my children are on the ice.”
Otabek laughed, the sound was deep and warm as he gently regarded Yuri. “My
mother is the same way, so you would be in good company.”
“We would just feed off of each other,” Yuri snickered as Lev reach up to tug
at the end of his long blond braid.
“You really have a beautiful pack,” Otabek said with a smile as he waved his
fingers at the pup strapped to Yuri’s chest. “And I bet they are all going to
be amazing skaters, if they aren’t already.”
“Thank you,” the blond could feel himself avoiding the alpha’s gaze as he
pushed Sergei back towards Mila. His cheeks were hot as he found his hand
traveling down to palm at the small curve of his baby bum. “Working on number
seven right now…”
“Congratulations,” Otabek said softly, his face wearing a look of genuine
happiness as his eyes traveled between the blond’s face and slightly swollen
stomach. “I hope I will be lucky enough to find an omega like you someday, but
until then I guess I’ll just focus on skating and trying to beat out your
husband for the top spot.”
“You can certainly try,” Yuri laughed as he smiled at the dark haired man as
Otabek turned to walk back to his seat. “It was nice to meet you again,
Otabek.”
“Of course, I’m happy we could have this reunion.”
Yuri turned away, hugging Lev tightly to him as the lights dimmed and
Christophe skated to the center of the ice. The omega was grateful for the
darkness. He found it hard to force the giddy grin and blush from his face as
he found himself hoping that Otabek would talk to him again at tomorrow’s
banquet. He felt as if he had finally found a friend...a lifeline in the sea of
isolation that Victor kept him in, and he wasn’t going to let it go.

Chapter Summary
     Trauma
They had announced Yuuri’s pregnancy alongside the news of Victor’s retirement
at the banquet following the Grand Prix Finals. One last gold for Russia’s
symbol of perfection.
Two more children for his picture perfect pack.
Yuri had stood at the alpha’s side with a forced smile plastered on his face as
the constant barrage of camera flashes made him sick to his stomach.Victor had
posed in the middle of his two omegas, one hand on each of their stomachs as
reporters and fellow skaters congratulated them on their ever expanding family.
Yuri could feel the irritation radiating from the other omega as the blond
pressed himself closer to Victor, and the alpha let out a content low growl
before nuzzling the top of the Russian omega’s head. Yuri had tried to avoid
doing things to upset the Japanese man, but tonight he was enjoying seeing the
older omega struggle to appear like the submissive second that he was supposed
to be. One of Yuri’s hands was draped casually over the alpha’s chest, pale
hand showcasing the large diamond and emerald wedding band he had been given
after the birth of the twins, while the other hand was carefully laced with the
hand that the alpha had on him.
You’re so lucky to have two beautiful omegas
Yuri felt anything, but beautiful. His body was tired, sore from being used so
many times in the past. His back was in such a sad state from always carrying
some sort of weight on his front, whether it be an unborn pup, or one of his
young children...sometimes both. He had never felt the same after giving birth
to Feliks, and it had consistently gone downhill with each child thereafter. He
felt lucky that no one, but Victor ever saw him without his clothing on. His
stomach always seemed to be round, maybe that was because he was pregnant more
often than not. However, he soon excused himself, apologizing for being tired
and headed up to their hotel suite to sleep off the nausea and self loathing
feeling he got from being with Yuuri and Victor.
They had traveled home without much incident. It was always difficult to
organize so many children, but Yuri was grateful to have Feliks by his side as
the young omega helped to keep his younger brothers in line. The blond felt
closest to his oldest child, always praising the silver haired omega for how
organized he was for being so young and how amazing he would be as a mother
when he eventually started his own family. Feliks always seemed to brush it
off, feeling awkward around his mother who was closer in age to being an older
sibling than a parent.
Victor had started traveling right after the finals. The alpha had gotten an
offer to help with olympic trials for Russian skaters and signed an endorsement
deal that required him to film several commercials on location. Yuri loved the
peacefulness. He loved not having to drag himself into Victor’s arms when the
alpha demanded the blond offer up his body. Yuri was able to read, and spend
time outside with the boys and Makkachin before the weather got too bitter for
them to stand. However, Yuuri became increasingly intolerable as the days
passed. Yuuri skyped with the silver haired alpha several times a day, often
showing off his slowly rounding belly and whining for Victor to come home and
bond with their unborn pup.
“You always gave Yuri so much attention. What about me, Vitya?” Yuuri groaned
into the small face of his smart phone.
Yuri frowned when the Japanese omega called Victor by the nickname the blond
Russian had given him. Vitya was his name, and he hated the hear the nagging
tone that Yuuri said it with. The dark haired man had also decided that
household chores were no longer his concern. He refused to go grocery shopping
or help with any of the younger pups. He only made food for himself when he
cooked, and seemed to easily ignore any of the cleaning that needed to be done
each day to keep their home from turning into a nightmare. Yuri had mustered
the courage to confront him, asking for help while cleaning the kitchen after
cooking dinner for the children. The Japanese omega had declined, choosing to
lean against the nearest counter and watch the blond work.
“Victor said I needed to take it easy with my pregnancy.”
“I highly doubt that he said that,” Yuri grumbled as he washed the small
collection of dishes that had begun to amass in the sink.
“Well he did-”
“Yeah right,” Yuri said sarcastically as he picked at a piece of food that
refused to come off of the plate he was cleaning.
“Are you saying I’m lying?”
“No, I’m saying you are lazy.”
Yuuri’s eyes narrowed in anger as he watched Yuri waddle around the kitchen.
The blond was in his sixth month of pregnancy, and his slight form made him
look even further along than he was.
“You’re just jealous.”
“Jealous?” Yuri said with a smirk, turning to look at Yuuri. “Jealous of what?
How fucking fat you already are or the fact that you think Victor actually
cares about you? It is a fucking joke that you just eat out of the palm of his
hand and think that you have any control over what he does. Just to let you
know, you’re not special and he doesn’t give a fuck about what you want. You’re
a fucking idiot.”
Yuri rolled his eyes, returning to his dishes with a sigh as Yuuri open mouth
stared at him. The dark haired omega pounced, the back of his hand catching
Yuri across the cheek and knocking him off balance with one sharp strike. He
fell face first to the floor, catching his forehead on the corner of the
countertop as as slammed his round stomach into the polished wood. The Japanese
omega stood speechless as he watched the blond attempt to stand, Yuri’s small
form was unsteady as he made it to his knees. One of Yuri’s thin hands was
trembling against his stomach as another sharp cramp kept him on him on the
floor. The blond omega felt sick, panic beginning to make his heart beat with
heavy thuds in his chest. The blond could feel the trickle of something down
the side of his face. Reaching his fingers up to brush the wetness from his
cheek, Yuri went cold when he saw the bright red blood on his fingertips. Yuri
looked up, green eyes watering as he stared into the horrified face of the
older omega.
“Yuuri, I...I need you to call Victor.”
“I...I think you’re bleeding-”
“Yuuri, please just call him,” Yuri grit out, collapsing to his side with a
whimper muffled by the back of his hand as another cramp rippled through his
lower body.
“Mama?”
Yuri wiped the blood, that continued to cascade down the side of his face,
before craning his head in search of the voice that had called for him. Sergei
stood at the edge of the kitchen, his bright blue eyes were wide with panic as
he toddled over to where Yuri laid. The blond omega was unable to look at the
pup, trying to hide his face behind his hands as the blood loss made him dizzy.
“Mama hurt?”
“No, baby,” Yuri said softly. “Go back into the living room and watch your
show.”
“Mama is bleeding-”
“Yuuri, fucking get Sergei out of here and call fucking Victor.”
The dark haired omega scooped up the child and hurried from the room with the
phone pressed to his ear. Yuri laid in agony on the floor of the kitchen for
what felt like an eternity until an ambulance finally arrived. As they helped
him onto the gurney he knew it was over for the pup in his womb. His body felt
cold and numb as they loaded him into the back of the large car and headed to
the hospital. As the doors closed he closed his eyes, sobbing uncontrollably as
they sped away from the townhouse.

Chapter Summary
Victor's reaction to his clashing omegas
His head was pressed against the glass wall of the nursery. They said she could
possibly make it, but it was too early to make any real assessments. According
to the development chart she was 27 weeks old, almost into the 7th month. She
had been progressing just fine, another typical pregnancy. Yet here she was
now, one of several premature babies being cared for in the intensive care
unit, which they claimed was one of the best in the country, but that didn’t
make him feel any better about the situation. She was underweight and anemic.
Her body was tiny and barely moving as nurses hovered around her, checking her
heart rate and temperature. She was red and wrinkled, wrapped in a thin pink
blanket as they settled her in for the night. She looked so fragile. She looked
so unhappy with the situation even though she had no clue what was going on
around her. His fingers tapped on the glass as if she could hear him, as if
knowing that he was close by would give her the strength to continue to live.
“Mr. Nikoforov, she’s going to be okay.”
Victor turned, dark circles under his eyes as he faced the small beta nurse at
his side. His face was grim, mouth in a drooping frown as he spoke slowly and
deliberately. “How do you know?”
“I just have faith. She is a strong little girl, just like her mother. I don’t
think we’ve ever been introduced, but I’ve helped with the delivery of several
of your children and-”
“I don’t want speculation. I just want her to be okay,” he barely managed to
get the last part out before his voice grew tight, turning to look at her again
with watery blue eyes.
My first little girl…
He walked back to Yuri’s hospital room. The small space was dim and mostly
silent, save for the soft beeping of his heart rate monitor. The omega was
awake, staring at an empty chair in the corner of the room when Victor entered,
slumping down onto the couch. The blond’s hair was a tangled mess, his emerald
eyes were wide and unblinking as Victor searching for any sign of life behind
them. Yuri’s face was a mask of calm, he was chewing absently on his bottom lip
as if he were deep in thought.
“This isn’t your fault.”
“I know it isn’t,” Yuri said calmly, eyes still fixated on the empty chair.
“I...I just wanted you to hear it from me.”
Yuri glanced toward Victor. “Did you see her?”
“Yes. She is so tiny,” Victor mumbled as he stared down at his hands. “They
said she is fighting.”
“I’m not going to get my hopes up,” Yuri said quietly.
“You are just being negative.”
“No, I just know the statistics, Victor. She has a chance, but not a great
one.”
“Believe in her.”
“Why?”
“She is your pup-”
“I hardly got to see her...I don’t even know what she looks like,” Yuri said
quietly, his voice coming out more like a whimper than he would have liked.
“She was in your stomach for almost seven months...you know her better than
anyone.”
“And now she’s not here.”
“I don’t like to see you when you are like this.”
“Is that why you’re never around?”
“Please don’t start this,” Victor closed his eyes, pressing the tips of his
fingers into the soft flesh as he let out a low groan. “I’m providing for this
family-”
“I want you to leave me alone right now. I can’t take one of your guilt trips,”
Yuri’s voice wavered as he tried to force his last sentence out. Tear fell down
his cheeks as he sharply turned away from Victor. “I...I don’t want the
children to see me like this…so don’t bring them here.”
“They are at home with Yuuri-”
“I don’t want him near them,” Yuri growled, his whole body seeming to go tense
at the mention of the other omega.
“That is something I can’t really accommodate-”
“Buy me my own house or get another house for him. Do whatever you have to do
to provide for this family that you are so deadset on having,” Yuri snapped.
“He could have killed our daughter, Vitya.”
“I will handle this,” Victor said lowly as he rose from his chair to stand by
Yuri’s bedside. “I am your alpha, and I will handle this issue.”
He sat in the back of the taxi with his hands neatly folded in his lap. The
drive was a staggering 45 minutes in traffic and it gave him time to think
about what to do. Victor clicked the lock button on his phone, staring down at
the photo of himself with both of his omegas. It was too much to deal with. He
walked into the house, leaving his shoes by the door when he spotted Yuuri
sitting on the couch. The omega’s back was to him and the television was off.
The house was unusually quiet.
“Where are the children?” Victor asked quietly, trying not to startle the omega
as he slowly grew closer.
“I put them all to bed…” Yuuri said, standing up and turning to look at Victor.
“How is Yuri? How is this baby?”
“Yuri will be fine. They haven’t really given me much information about the
baby.”
Yuuri’s face crumbled, arms reaching out for the alpha as he tried to close the
gap between them. “Victor I’m sorry about what happened-”
“Close your mouth and listen. You have no idea how much I care for each of
these children,” Victor growled, face only inches from Yuuri’s face as he
slapped the omega’s arms away and stabbed one thick finger into the dark haired
man’s chest. “They are my life. More than you or Yuri ever will be. While I
enjoy your company from time to time, you are just a vessel. If my daughter
dies, I will send your ass back to Japan as soon as that baby is out of you and
Yuri will raise it. Understood?”
The Japanese omega was unable to speak as he stared into the depths of the
alpha’s narrowed eyes, managing a stiff nod before hurrying off to his room.
Victor stood in the living room, heart pounding as he checked his watch. He
collapsed onto the couch, determined to get a few hours of sleep before
returning to his pup.

Chapter Notes

One:
Feliks had been the worst. Yuri would never admit it, but his first pregnancy
had left him with numerous scars, both physical and emotional, and maybe some
of it was to blame on his relationship with Victor. However, he had never been
more miserable than he had been while pregnant with his first. Everything had
happened so suddenly. Deflowered. Pregnant. Bonded. It had been a storm of
warring emotions as Yuri found that his control of his life slipping was away
from him. At first he was terrified, fearful that if anyone knew they would do
something horrible to him; lock him up and take away his pup as soon as it was
born. Yuri felt like everyone was looking at him, and he wasn’t entirely wrong.
Yet as his fear began to fade, a new emotion began to consume him.
Yuri had spent the second trimester of his pregnancy in agony, his eyes always
glistening with unshed tears of pain. His whole body was exhausted and slowly
morphing into a form that was completely foreign to him. His stomach was round
and full, far too heavy for him to carry around. His clothing had stopped
fitting and Victor had slowly become more and more over protective. His body
was no longer his own. He needed to be strong, not just for himself, but for
the new life he was cultivating inside of him. However, it was just so
difficult...
Around the eighth month Yuri started to panic. Victor had spent hours scenting
the light grey nursery that their little pup would soon be nestled in. However,
Yuri found it hard to even enter the room without an overwhelming sense of
unease settling over him. He wasn’t ready on any level to be a mother. The
omega’s heart would pound whenever he felt the butterfly like movement of his
baby...his Feliks.
He had been alone when he had first gone into labor, but after holding the
softly whimpering pup in his arms, Yuri knew he would never be alone again.
Two:
Victor had given him four months. Yuri had barely succeed in getting Feliks to
nurse, barely started to lose his baby weight, barely started to become
comfortable with his body again… Victor had held him down and he had sobbed
into a pillow as the alpha had roughly fucked him, their pup sleeping in the
white bassinet they kept by their bed. Yuri had cried when he found out he was
pregnant again, it was too soon. The doctors had advised them to wait.
His body needs time to heal.
Yuri’s morning sickness had been awful with the twins, and was more of an all
day sickness as he found himself running to the bathroom whenever his nose
caught a smell of anything too strong. They were never settled in his stomach,
both undulating right below the surface, always excited to be in each other’s
company. The omega had been excited to learn that they would be identical.
Victor had claimed that twins ran in his family, and that had immediately
soured any good thoughts Yuri had possessed. Things only got worse when he
threw his back out. The twins were too much for him to carry and Yuri had been
forcefully put on bedrest until his scheduled c-section.
Yuri had an adverse reaction to the anesthesia and had lost a great amount of
blood when the twins arrived. A nurse told him that Victor had cried, howling
with so much grief that he had to be removed from the operating room as the
doctors had tried to revive the omega...not that yuri really believe them.
Three:
Give him time, or we will put in a referal to have his reproductive organs
removed.
He had been labeled a victim. Alpha abuse. Others had claimed that Victor was
just as much of a victim as he was…
He’s overcome with his primal urges.
Victor gave him years to recover, and Yuri had never been more grateful for
anything in his life. With the recovery came a little freedom that Yuri wasn’t
used to. The omega had a chance to see his grandfather and introduce the beta
to all of his great grandchildren. Yuri enjoyed simple things like grocery
shopping or taking the pups to watch Victor skate. The omega was enjoying
domestic life, and was trying to settle into a peaceful rhythm until he found
himself pregnant again.
Four:
Just one more...five is really the perfect size for a pack…
Yuri was practically a professional by the time he gave birth to Sergei. He had
been with the same nurses for his last few births. The ladies at the clinic and
at the hospital joked with him about how many children Yuri planned on having.
He always laughed and smiled along with them, and maybe that was what hurt the
most.
Five:
Sergei needs a playmate...Feliks and the twins have each other, and Anton is
getting along more with the older boys. Sergei needs someone to grow up
with...why don’t we just have one more?
That was all it took…
Six:
She had been a tool to make Yuuri jealous. She had been so healthy and perfect,
but she had came too early. Her little body was so cold, so purple when they
pulled her from his stomach and sent her into the intensive care unit. The
feelings he had felt with Feliks had come full circle; the fear, the pain, the
doubt…
He wasn’t ready to lose her.
Yelena...his princess.

“Have you talked to Yuuri?”
Yuri gently tapped at Lev’s closed mouth with a small, green plastic spoon,
cooing singsong praises for the pup as the child happily ate up the puree
offered to him. The rest of the children at the table were holding their
breath. Nikolai’s eyes were narrowed as he glowered at his older brother from
across the wooden surface. Yuri turned, grabbing a handful of strawberry
flavored rice puffs to dump on the tray of the highchair before acknowledging
Feliks.
“What were you saying, sweetheart?”
“I was talking about Yuuri. You know he’s sorry, mama,” Feliks mumbled, chasing
a grape around his plate with a fork.
It had over a month since Yelena had been born, and while she wasn’t out of
danger yet, Yuri was beginning to find himself growing more hopeful with each
passing day that she would be coming home sooner rather than later. He had been
reluctant to go to the hospital at first, too afraid to get attached just to
see her slip away from him before he was ready to let her go. He had been
dragged there several times by Victor, the alpha insisting that Yuri spend time
with his daughter, especially now that she was allowed physical contact from
her parents.
She needs to smell you. The doctors said that knowing who you are is critical
for her development.
Yuri had been nervous to touch her, watching from the other side of the room as
Victor would stoke one finger down the length of her cheek. The alpha radiated
pride as the nurses would tell them how well she was doing, and how beautiful
she was.
She has your nose, Yura…
The blond had started to spend time with her when Victor was no longer around
due to job requirements, which often relied on Yuuri being available to watch
his children. It had been difficult at first, he had been so afraid. Terrified
that the Japanese omega would hurt one of his other children while he was away.
However, Yuri realized he was being irrational. He knew that Yuuri hadn’t
intentionally meant for him to fall...it had just been an unfortunate misstep
following their childish argument. Yet, he refused to speak to the Japanese man
unless it was an emergency or he wanted to go see Yelena. The house had been
quiet, everyone dancing around the tension that hung heavy between the feuding
omegas.
“I would hope Yuuri would be sorry,” Yuri grumbled, more bitterly than he would
have liked to come across. Yuri reached across the table to brush a silver
strand of Feliks’s hair away from his face as the blond omega forced a smile to
his lips. “Did you want to come with me to see Yelena today after you get off
from school?”
“I want to come,” Sergei huffed, standing up in his seat as he tried to steal
his mother’s attention away from everyone else.
“Sergei, pup, sit down,” Yuri ask gently, rolling his eyes at the small child’s
eagerness. Most of the pack had been begging to go visit the hospital, and
unfortunately that wasn’t an option for most of them due to the age
restrictions that the intensive care unit had in place.
“Mama, I want to see Lena.”
“I’m sorry, my dear. You’re too young, baby. They only let old people like me
and Feliks into the room where they keep the special babies. The nurses don’t
want the special babies to get sick.”
“I don’t wanna get Lena sick, mama,” Sergei whimpered, sitting back down with
Mikhail’s help.
“I know, baby,” Yuri laughed, gathering up most of the empty plates at the
table as he walked over to the sink. “Did you want to come with me, Feliks?”
“You should talk to him,” the silver haired omega persisted, following behind
his mother with his own plate held tightly in his hands.
Yuri pulled four matching lunchboxes from the refrigerator with a sigh before
sliding the plate from the younger omega’s hands. “How about you come with me
this afternoon, and I’ll talk to Yuuri while everyone is at school today?”
“Thank you, mama,” Feliks buried his face into the fabric of his mother’s
sweater, nuzzling the soft fabric and finding all of his nervous energy soothed
by Yuri’s calming scent. The blond placed a quick kiss to the top of Feliks’s
head, giving the pup a tight squeeze and beganing to usher his school age
children toward the door. “Okay, now let's all go cram in the car like a bunch
of clowns to get you boys to school.”
Yuri was helping Sergei take off his coat, the pup twisting and turning with
playful shrieks, making the process even more difficult as the blond tried to
balance Lev on his hip.
“Do...do you want me to take him for a second?”
Yuri froze, Sergei breaking away from the blond omega with a chorus of giggles
to wrap his arms around Yuuri’s legs.
“Yuuri take my coat off,” the toddler commanded, hiding his face in the dark
haired man’s knees as Yuri anxiously bounced Lev in his arms.
“Of course, saru,” the Japanese man mumbled as he slipped the garment away.
“That means monkey, mama! Did you know that? Yuuri was teaching Feliks
Japanese, cuz we are all going to visit Japan this summer,” Sergei announced
with a proud smile as Yuuri stood awkwardly behind him, hands fidgeting against
the tiny jacket he held.
“I didn’t know that. You are so smart. Why don’t you go watch you shows in the
living room? Papa left a copy of the dvd he got from last year’s Grand Prix in
the player if you want to watch.”
The pup scurried off with a roar of laughter as Yuuri moved to hang up the coat
on the hooks next to the door. The omegas stood in silence as the Japanese
omega fixed the sleeves of the pups jacket. Yuuri moved to leave when Yuri
cleared his throat.
Do this for Feliks.
“I...I know you didn’t do it on purpose,” the words felt like sand that
lingered in Yuri’s mouth for the long stretch of silence that followed his
statement. “And I’m sorry that-”
“Please don’t apologise. It is my fault. I should have never put my hands on
you and I seriously fucked...I mean I seriously messed up,” Yuuri corrected
himself quickly, blushing at the way Yuri wrinkled his nose when he cursed in
front of Lev. “And I don’t expect you to ever forgive me, but I hope we can get
along enough to raise all of your children...and my child together.”
“I think that is something we can work toward, with time.”
“I don’t expect our relationship to change overnight, but I really love all of
your pups, and I’m sorry I caused Yelena to be in the hospital. I know it
hasn’t been easy...and that I’ve been difficult.”
“I’ve been difficult as well,” Yuri said softly, “I haven’t made this easy for
you either.”
“I mean, sharing your husband with another omega can’t be a situation that you
would hope to find yourself in…”
“Well, it is a horrible situation we share,” Yuri said as he pressed a kiss to
the top of Lev’s head as the pup tugged at the necklace the blond always wore.
He was doing this for Feliks...doing this for his children.“And we can make
this work for both of us, if you are willing to give this another shot.”
“I am,” Yuuri said in a voice barely above a whisper, following behind the
other omega as Yuri headed to the living room, taking a seat next to Sergei on
the couch. Yuuri found himself smiling as the pup pointed to all the skaters he
knew, announcing their names with glee. Yet, his eyes kept wandering to Yuri,
praying that this could be a new beginning for them. Hoping he wouldn’t have to
be alone, adrift in a foreign country without a single person to call a friend.
His hand reached for Yuri’s, daring to brush over the back of the other omega’s
hand as they sat close together. He could feel the tension in the blond’s
scent, but it was less than it had been for the past month. Yuuri smiled, he
would take that as a victory for now.

It will be a long road to forming a friendship...but this is a start!

He had heard from Mila that Yuri spent a lot of time at the hospital since the
early arrival of his newest pup, and he was unwilling to let the chance to
spend time with the blond omega get passed up. Otabek had traversed several
floors in search of the petite blond until finally laying eyes on the omega
just outside of the intensive care unit. Yuri was nursing a small, silver
haired pup, the same one he had been toting around at the Grand Prix. The
blond’s eyes were nervously flicking between the clock and the baby in his arms
as Otabek approached.
“Mind if I sit with you?”
“As long as you don’t mind my boob hanging out.”
“I’ve seen an omega feed before.”
“Some people seem bothered by it,” Yuri mumbled.
Otabek smiled down at the blue eyed pup that was staring at him. “Not me.”
“Why are you here?” Yuri asked bluntly, wincing slightly as he adjusted Lev.
“Mila said you come here alone, and I guess I wanted to give you some company.
Does my presence bother you?”
“No,” Yuri said, blushing at how quickly the word left his lips. “I appreciate
it, Otabek.”
“It’s not problem. How is she doing?”
“Yelena is fine. I can look at her through the big window over there, but I
can’t go inside with Lev. I don’t like leaving him at home with Yuuri now that
he’s further along in his pregnancy. I remember how hard it was for me to carry
a baby in my arms while pregnant. So, I’m trying to spare him the back pain.”
“You’re too kind to him. He’s your sister omega. He’s supposed to support you.
My father had three omegas, and they were a team.”
“We aren’t like that. Maybe some day, but it is still pretty divided.”
The silence that followed seemed to stretch on forever until Yuri finally got
the courage to speak up. “What should we talk about?”
“Anything I guess, what is going on in your life?”
“That’s too grim of a story.”
“Your children then?”
“Are you sure?”
“Tell me about them.”
“There are so many to talk about…”
“We've got nothing but time.”
“I guess you could say that...I’m not sure when Victor is coming today.”
“Does it matter that I’m here?”
“It might.”
“To you or him?”
“You know the answer.”
“Then tell me everything you can.”
“Where should I start?”
“Well, start from the beginning. Your oldest is named Feliks?”
“Yes, he’s twelve now, and he’s full of questions about anything that pops into
his head.”
“I have younger siblings that are his age. They just seem to have boundless
energy for examining the world.”
“They do… I've always loved that Victor cannot deny that Feliks is his child.
Not that he ever would, but it’s just the thought. I can't really explain it I
guess. Some days I look at them and I just see even more of Victor in Feliks
than the day before. They both have those eyes...I just get lost in them. They
are practically identical, he almost had no part of me, but I don't think we
should talk about that. Feliks loves to read and loves skating more than any of
my other children.”
“I would be shocked if you would have said he hated skating. His father is a
world class athlete, and I’m sure you would have been up in the ranks beside
him if things had been different.”
“If I wouldn’t have gotten knocked up? You can say it, Otabek. I won’t hold it
against you.”
The Kazakh man scowled, brushing his hair away from his forehead before
continuing. “You got pregnant.”
“In all honesty, knocked up is a phrase that describes my situation perfectly.
I fucked up and got knocked up, but I wouldn't trade any of my children for a
career in figure skating. I’m lucky to have them.”
“They are all wonderful children.”
“Yes they are all so amazing. Feliks is very smart and we've been fighting to
keep him engaged in his accelerated courses at the public school he attends,
but it's just not challenging enough. There is a school for gifted children
we've applied to. He takes the test next Monday.”
“I'm sure he will do fine and the next time we are able to get together you'll
be telling me all about his new school. Now, what were the names of your twins
again?”
“Nikolai and Mikhail. We named them after my grandfather and Victor’s father.”
“Nice family names. I was supposed to be named after my father, but my mother
changed it at the last minute. Sixteen hours in labor, and my mother deserved
to pick whatever name... Can’t say I blame anyone who has to endure that.”
“She is stronger than I would have been. I would have demanded they just cut
you out if you would have been one of my boys.”
“My mom would admire you for giving birth to twins. My mom never carried more
than one of us at a time.”
“It was...a challenge,” Yuri said with a smile, his stomach tightening as he
thought back to his full belly. “Those boys are hellions. They're inseparable,
and they just love to try and confuse me. When they were younger, they would
change clothes to make me think I was going crazy. They are my antagonists, but
they are the sweetest boys when they aren’t terrorizing their other siblings.
They both love animals and we got them a snake for their birthday. Nikolai is
much more outspoken than Mikhail, but Mikhail is very headstrong in his own
ways, more crafty than Nikolai. Victor thinks they will present as alphas.”
“Does that bother you?”
“No,” Yuri paused running his tongue along his lower lip. “I'm more worried
about how Feliks will feel.”
“Did he want to be an alpha?”
“Desperately,” Yuri whispered. “He wanted to be just like Victor. It crushed
him until about...five months ago. The alphas at school refuse to leave him
alone, but he is too strong to let those little punk asses rattle him. Plus the
twins are fiercely protective. Nikolai was suspended for a week for breaking
another boy’s nose, because the boy was rude to Feliks.”
“I would say that is a point towards your boys being alphas.”
“Ugh, I am just waiting for them to go into rut any day now. Nikolai said he
was trying to stand up for Feliks, and that was all I could get out of them.
The three of them are like a little gang and it’s so cute how much Anton wants
to play with them, but he just can’t break in yet.”
“He’s your middle pup?”
“Yes, too old for the babies, but just a little too young to run with my first
three. He just started skating this past summer. The twins find it boring, but
Feliks and Anton could spend hours on the ice. Victor takes them three times a
week at least, and I think Anton would go every day if we would take him.”
“I’m surprised I haven’t seen them there.”
“Victor requests private rink time for the boys to train with Yakov. Anton will
be competing at the novice level this season. He practices his choreography
constantly and it's funny to watch him fret over his hand gestures. He wants to
be perfect and to be the best. He's my mini me. Blessed with my flexibility and
skating prowess. He can already do an almost perfect biellmann. Victor could
never do that.”
“Do you have Anton in ballet?” Otabek asked softly, his mind fondly remembering
his encounter with a younger Yuri at one of Yakov’s training camps. He had
never been able to push a memory away.
“Two times a week with Lilia, but he's the only one of my pups that has
training with Lilia. Sergei seems interested in ballet, but he's still a baby.”
“My younger sister, Sabina, is in class with Anton. She’s secretly hoping he
will pair skate with her.”
“I could ask him, if she really wants to skate with him, they would be so cute
together I’m sure.”
“I’ll ask Sabina. Is Sergei the little one who demanded my bear at the Grand
Prix?”
Yuri winced, nodding slowly as he thought about the poor bear that had been
left behind in their hotel room despite Sergei’s red face and abundance of
tears. Victor would not allow a gift from another alpha to enter his house.
“Yes, he's my little brat. I swear he wasn't spoiled as a baby. He came into
the world already wearing a fussy pout and commanding everyone's attention. I
had no part in him being a little terror. He is loud. I don’t think I was loud
as a baby. So, I’ve decided to blame his behavior on Victor.”
“He's at that age that he thinks has to compete for your attention with your
other children. It's his way of making you look at him.”
“I look at him constantly. He clings to me and I can't get away from him. I
call him my monkey, because of how he just hangs off of me at all times.
Hopefully he will grow out of it.”
“He just loves his mama.”
“He loves his mama too much. That just leaves Lev and Yelena…” Yuri smiled down
at the sleeping boy in his arms before looking over to the child lying in the
incubation unit. “Lev is my calm baby. He just goes with the flow and loves to
be in my arms. Hopefully he will be off the boob soon. Yelena is going to need
to feed from me… They think she might be able to come home next week.”
“I’m sure that she will do better once she gets more time with you,” Otabek
mumbled as he reached out to run a finger across Lev’s plump cheek. “You take
amazing care of all of your pups and she just needs your special care.”
“Soon.”
Otabek glanced down at his watch. He knew Victor would be arriving any time
now, Yuri had said something about the alpha coming over after he got off of
work each day. “I should be going. I don't think Victor would like seeing us
together.”
“You’re probably right, but...thank you for listening. I don’t get to talk to
people much, and this was nice.”
“Promise me we will do it again?” Otabek said quietly, cursing himself for
sounding too hopeful.
“Of course.”

He had been up all night. Between Lev refusing to sleep and Feliks going into
heat, Yuri didn’t have a single moment of rest as he bounced between his
children. He hadn’t showered, he hadn’t eaten…he was a mess of sweat and baby
spit up. However, he refused to let his exhaustion show. He had brought both
Feliks and Lev to his bed, pulling his oldest pup to lay partially on his chest
rubbing small circles on the young boy’s back as his other arm held Lev to his
side.
His boys were finally settling when his bedroom door creaked open. Yuri glared
expecting to see Victor, but surprised to see Yuuri. The Japanese man’s face
was a mask of concern as he took one step into the room.
“How are they?”
“Fine now,” Yuri growled at the other omega as Feliks buried his face into the
blond’s chest. “We’re trying to get some sleep.”
“I just wanted to check on you all...the other boys are all asleep still,”
Yuuri spoke timidly, still testing the waters between the two omegas.
“That’s good…”
“Do you want me to get the rest of the boys ready when it’s time?”
“No, I’ll get up and get a shower,” Yuri said with a yawn, nuzzling the top of
Lev’s head as he tried to keep his eyes open.
“Take your time. It’s only four.”
“Why are you up?” Yuri’s eyes flicked over to the clock on his nightstand. Was
it really that early?
“This baby has no chill,” the dark haired man chuckled, rubbing a hand over his
midsection. “And my heartburn is out of control. Do we have any milk?”
“Milk is only going to make it worse. It will cause your stomach to make more
acid and you’ll be even more miserable.”
“Thanks for the tip,” Yuuri said quietly, his eyes lingering on the blond
omega’s thin hands as he comforted his children. He could feel a redness
beginning to grow in his cheeks as he decided it would be best for him to
leave. “I’ll let you guys rest.”
“Can you take the boys to and from school today?” Yuri asked quickly, not
wanting to leave Feliks at home alone. The first heat day was always the worst.
Yuuri stopped, turning to look at Yuri with a frown. “I could take them to
school, but I have an appointment this afternoon...I could ask Victor to pick
them up.”
“Please ask for me.”
“Of course.”
Making breakfast after a much needed shower was a welcomed relief to Yuri after
the tumultuous night the blond omega had gone through. He had managed to sneak
in a few more hours of sleep before needing to get the boys ready for school.
Yuri balanced Lev on his hip as he cooked pan after pan of bacon, the smell
making his mouth water as he waited for his children to crowd around their
small, breakfast table. He was pulled away from his task by a knock at the
door, hurrying with Lev still in his arms to see who would be there at such an
early hour.
Yuri's eyes had done little to conceal the shock that overcome him when he
answered the door. The blond smiled wide, chuckling at the giant cluster of
flowers that greeted him on the front steps of his house. The waiting delivery
man eased a large floral arrangement, nestled in a wide bottomed crystal vase
into the omega’s free arm before hurrying back down the steps to his van. Yuri
struggled to juggle Lev and his special delivery as he carefully made his way
to the kitchen, easing the toddler down onto the tiled floor while placing the
collection of brightly colored flowers on the edge of the nearest counter.
There was a green velvet ribbon neatly tied around the thin column of the
vase’s middle, along with a small card tucked into the leaves of the filler
plants.
Yuri continued to smile, the rich scent of fresh flowers quickly filled the
open kitchen as he scooped Lev back into his arms. The omega ran his fingers
over the ruffled petals of a red carnation before plucking it from the
arrangement and tickling the underside of Lev’s chin with the blossom. Yuri
gently pressed the stem of the flower into the child’s chubby hands, The pup
squealed, wriggling the the blond’s arms, and waving his new toy in his
mother’s face as Yuri slid the card out from its hiding spot. He was sure the
flowers were a gift to the other omega. Victor seemed to adopt the habit of
gift giving when Yuri had been pregnant previously, and he assumed it would
carry over to the other omega now that Yuuri was with child.
Yuri,
It was nice talking with you, and I hope these are okay. Enjoy your day today.
The blond wrinkled his nose as he read the card again. It was his name....at
first he assumed that it must have been a typo.
It was nice talking with you.
Yuri eyed the flowers nervously while finishing breakfast for the pups. The
flowers were undeniably beautiful and they made him smile, but it made his
stomach turn into a giant block of ice as he thought about the possibility that
they were from Otabek. They made the hairs stand up on the back of his neck
when he thought about how angry Victor would be if he found out another alpha
was giving him gifts, but...he liked the strange feeling he felt when he looked
at the flowers.
He felt stupid for thinking the way he did, but he liked the attention. He more
than liked it. He needed it. Even if they meant nothing. Even if Otabek was
giving him the gift, because he pitied Yuri. The blond secretly hoped they
meant something more. Yuri could feel his hands begin to tingle as he thought
back to his conversation with the dark haired man; how engaged he had been as
the omega had babbled on about his children...Victor’s children. Yuri ripped up
the card, throwing the small pile of cardstock into the trash can, a small
shred of his guilt easing from his mind.
The blond pushed away his thoughts when he felt Sergei’s arms wrap around his
knees in a warm hug.
“Morning Mama,” the silver haired pup chirped happily.
“Good morning, baby. Where are your brothers?”
“We’re here,” Nikolai grumbled, as he was followed by Mikhail and Anton into
the kitchen. The group settled around the table, chatting softly amongst
themselves as Yuri hurried around the small space.
“Those flowers are really nice,” Anton said softly, nibbling on a piece of
bacon as Yuri finished packing their lunches.
“I agree...your father got them for me,” Yuri lied, staring down at the
sandwich in his hands as he hoped the curious child would just drop the
subject. “They brighten up the house so much more.”
“Papa should do stuff like that for you more often,” Nikolai mumbled.
“That’s enough. Finish eating so Yuuri can drop you all off at school,” Yuri
sighed, looking at his flowers, worrying that he was making the wrong choice by
keeping them, but refusing to let them go. He knew he needed to get rid of
them, but the part of him that had been deprived of genuine love and generosity
needed them to stay...at least for today.
_________
“Mama loved the flowers you got him.”
Victor stopped the scowl that threatened to creep across his face before
looking up into the rearview mirror at Anton with a smile. “Did he?”
“Yeah...that was really nice Papa. He’s been really sad because of Yelena, and
I think what you did made him feel a lot better,” the blond boy continued.
“I’m glad you agree. I thought he would love them,” Victor lied, hands
tightening on the steering wheel as his schooled features dared not to betray
him.
“He did,” Mikhail added cheerfully. “He looked so happy this morning when he
was making our lunches.”
“That is really wonderful,” Victor replied, tone tense and low as he narrowed
his eyes to focus on the road in front of him.
_________
“Where in the hell did those come from?”
Yuri froze, carefully easing the dishes back into the warm water before turning
to look at Victor with a frown. His green eyes shifting between the flowers
next to him and the alpha that stood in the doorway to the kitchen. “Didn’t you
get them for me?” He feigned innocence, mouth turning into a frown and eyes
going slightly wide.
“Would I be asking you of their origin if they were from me?” Victor sneered.
“I guess not-”
The alpha had crossed the room in a few quick strides, towering over the petite
omega with a growl. Yuri winced at the sharp pull of Victor’s hand in his hair.
“Where did they come from?” Victor said in a voice barely above a whisper; tone
just as threatening as it would have been if he were shouting.
“I don’t know,” Yuri whimpered, neck stretched back at a painful angle as he
looked up into Victor’s eyes. He was panicking. His palms were damp as he
reached back to try and ease the alpha’s hand from his hair, only succeeding in
making Victor hold on tighter. “I thought they were from you.”
“Have you been seeing someone?”
Yuri froze, a lump forming in his throat as he tried to think of something to
say. Did Victor know? Had Victor seen him talking to Otabek at the hospital?
There was no way he would have guessed the flowers were from Otabek...right?
They were just a gift...not a declaration of undying love or anything like
that...just flowers. “N-no, Vitya-”
“Why am I even asking? No one would want an omega like you… You can’t even take
care of yourself. You are barely presentable. Those flowers must have been sent
here by mistake,” Victor snapped, pushing Yuri away from him and back toward
the sink.
With one large, sweeping gesture he sent the vase to the ground, the glass
shattering and covering the tiled floor of the kitchen with water. Yuri winced
at the loud sound, leaning against the counter for support as he avoided
Victor’s gaze. His stomach was in knots, hands trembling as he realized how
stupid he had been. He should have just gotten rid of them before Victor got
home, but he had just wanted something that made him feel nice.
“Clean this fucking mess up. You can handle that, right?”
Yuri nodded, sinking to the floor and beginning to gather the larger pieces as
Victor left, the alpha carelessly stepping on the flowers as he passed. The
blond’s eyes watered as he stared at the ruined flowers in front of him. He
would never have anything...not even for a single day.

They had seen each other once, by accident, since the incident with the
flowers. Anton had left his ballet shoes at home, prompting Yuri to hurry
across town to get them to him on time for practice. The blond was trudging
through a snowy parking lot with Lev and Sergei toddling along beside him when
he saw Otabek with his younger sister. The dark haired man had waved, scooping
up the young girl to quickly catch up to Yuri. They had talked only briefly,
Yuri unable to tell the Kazakh man about what had happened with the flowers,
choosing only to sweetly smile and thank him for the gift. Otabek had insisted
Yuri save his phone number, offering to drive Anton to practice any time that
Yuri was busy or unable to make the trip himself.
He had been hesitant to reach out, letting the number sit unused in his phone
for a few days, but had decided to give the alpha a call when he was visiting
Yelena while Victor was at work, and Yuuri decided to stay home with the
children. Yuri knew that Otabek was probably busy, and he had assumed the dark
haired man had only given him the number because he pitied Yuri or felt bad for
him.
However, the blond was surprised when Otabek agreed to meet him at the
hospital. Yuri’s heart was pounding as he hung up the phone, his skin tingling
with excitement as he waited for the Kazakh skater to arrive. The blond just
wanted company. He wanted someone he knew he could talk to without any
preconceived ideas about his situation. He was lost in his thoughts, holding
his daughter close to him in the small visiting room offered by the intensive
care unit when the alpha finally arrived.
“Where is your little one?”
Yuri looked up to see Otabek hovering next to him and he couldn’t help but
smile. “I took your advice and left him at home with Yuuri. You were the one
who suggested we act more like a team, remember?” Yuri said with a smirk.
“I’m glad. You looked so tired-”
Yuri frowned, “What does that mean?”
“I was simply saying that trying to raise six boys, and one little girl in the
hospital, by yourself isn’t a task one should do alone,” Otabek said with a
nervous smile, holding up his hands in mock surrender as he sat down next to
the omega. “Everyone deserves a break.”
Yuri rolled his eyes and smiled, trying to stop himself from blushing as he
quickly changed the subject. “Do you want to hold her?”
“Would Victor be okay with that?”
“I don’t care. She’s my baby,” Yuri said with more force than he had originally
intended, cheeks going pink as he avoided Otabek’s gaze. The blond smiled down
at Yelena. She was so soft and perfect. Yuri could feel his stomach flutter,
fingertips brushing over one of her small hands peeking out from under the
blanket she was swaddled in. “Do you want to hold her?” Yuri asked again,
reaffirming that it was okay.
“Of course,” Otabek carefully reached for the pink wrapped bundle.
“You’re a natural,” Yuri chuckled as he adjusted the small knit cap on Yelena’s
head.
“I have sixteen siblings. I’m more professional than you,” Otabek responded
with a slight grin, his tone playful.
“Hey! I’ve birthed seven children-”
“I was kidding, Yura,” Otabek said as he leaned closer to the pup in his arms.
She was so tiny, so fragile, none of his siblings had ever been so small. She
smelled clean and sweet...like Yuri did when he was telling Otabek about all of
his children last week. Yelena yawned, her small mouth stretching wide as she
settled deeper into the blanket. “She’s so sleepy…”
“She gets to come home next week if everything goes well,” Yuri whispered as he
tickled a finger under her chin, never noticing how close he was to the other
alpha, but he couldn’t bring himself to care.
“I’ll keep her in my good thoughts-” Otabek spoke softly, his eyes locked with
the small infant in his arms.
Yuri felt his phone beginning to vibrate in his pocket, breaking his trance and
begrudgingly stepping away from the peaceful moment. He slid the device free,
eyes fixated on his daughter and Otabek as he looked away for a moment to see
who was calling. The blond frowned when he saw the number for his children’s
school. “I need to take this call. Do you feel comfortable holding her?”
“Yes, we’re fine,” Otabek told him as he rocked the baby in his arms. Otabek
frowned as he watched Yuri pace at the end of the hallway, the blond’s face
falling as he talked on the phone. The dark haired man stood up with Yelena,
slowly walking toward the omega when Yuri hung up. “Is everything okay?” Otabek
asked.
“I have to go. I’m sorry that we can’t go out for coffee, but there is an issue
at the boys’ school.”
“It’s not a problem,” Otabek said with a slight hint of disappointment.
“There’s always another day.”
“Thanks, Beka. I really appreciate you understanding.”
“Of course. Now, let’s get your princess back to her bed,” Otabek eased Yelena
back into Yuri’s arms, following closely behind the blond as Yuri hurried back
to the nursery. He hated to see the blond so upset, but he knew he’d hear about
what was troubling Yuri eventually.
_____________
“Your boys are about to start their first rut or so it seems, and their
aggression is very dangerous to other students. This is the second boy they
have harmed in the past two months. They are getting out of control.”
“I see that now…” Yuri felt ill as he nodded along with the school
administrator's conversation, the words passing by him without any chance of
him processing the information.
His twins were alphas.
His twins were alphas who had attacked another student... A student that was
now in the hospital with a broken wrist and a cracked rib. Yuri was
embarrassed, utterly horrified that his children would do something so violent.
“Mr. Nikiforov?”
Yuri’s eyes snapped up. It was always still strange to him when people referred
to him as Mr.Nikiforov. “I’m sorry, I was just thinking. Will I be able to
collect make up work for them? I don’t want them to fall behind-”
“This is the second time your sons have attacked another student. You shouldn’t
be so relaxed with the situation.”
“I understand the seriousness of what is going on, and I know that their
actions are unacceptable, but I want to make sure they will be able to get the
education they need.”
“Your sons are exhibiting very poor behavior as young alphas.”
“They haven’t been officially classified yet-” Yuri responded meekly,
attempting to defend his children’s innocence.
“Take them to their primary care physician. It’s obvious, Mr. Nikiforov.” The
administrator ordered, his tone serious.
Yuri frowned. “I’ll get it taken care of.”
“Your boys will be suspended for two weeks, and will be in supervised classes
when they return, until we feel they won’t be a danger to other students. They
have a large amount of anger and frustration, and I would consider having them
see a counselor.”
“I will speak to their father about that…”
“Please do, Mr. Nikiforov. Your sons are very bright boys. They have been a
pleasure to have at our school until these last few months. There are a great
deal of hormonal changes that come with being an alpha, and your children need
a positive alpha to influence their growth. Your husband should be helping them
with this difficult time-”
“He helps as much as he can,” Yuri said quickly, rising from his chair with a
scowl across his face. “Please let the parents of the other boy know that we
will pay their medical expenses.”
“Mikhail and Nikolai need to be brought home now, Mr. Nikiforov. Will you be
taking Feliks and Anton home with you as well?”
“No,” Yuri said quietly. “Their father will be picking them up today.”
Yuri left the office with the twins broodily following behind, everyone much
too angry to say anything. Even the ride in the car was silent until the last
few moments. Yuri eventually was able to piece together a sentence once he
calmed down enough to process everything that happened with his children.
“Boys, I want you to think of how you are going to explain this to your father
when he comes home later.”
“Dima needed his ass beaten, because he’s a stupid prick that decided to fuck
with Feliks. Is that good enough, mama?” Nikolai growled sarcastically, green
eyes narrowed at his mother from the backseat of the car.
“Watch your mouth. Who taught you to say such terrible things?”
“The other kids at school,” Nikolai mumbled. And our father…
“Your choice of words is completely unacceptable, and I’m shocked that the two
of you have been suspended again.”
“He was being mean to Feliks-”
“Niki, I understand, but you should tell a teacher or an adult-”
“They don’t care. Dima has been horrible to Feliks all year and they have done
nothing,” Nikolai snapped.
“Has your brother said anything to Dima? Feliks hasn’t mentioned any issues at
school.”
“Why would he say anything to you? It’s not worth upsetting you and papa,”
Nikolai said with a heavy sigh.
“He’s embarrassed, mama,” Mikhail added, arms crossed over his chest as he
tried to sink into the backseat of the car. He hadn’t wanted to hurt Dima, but
he had wanted the other boy to understand that he had no place trying to talk
to Feliks anymore.
“Yeah, he doesn’t want to worry or upset you,” Nikolai grumbled, slamming the
front door behind him as he followed Yuri and his twin into their house.
“You boys should always tell me things. I can talk to your teachers if there is
an issue,” Yuri said tightly, trying to not lose his temper with the twins as
he grabbed their coats from where they had haphazardly thrown them on the
floor. Mikhail stood away from the pair, molded to Yuuri’s side as the Japanese
omega and the younger pups watched the two blond Russians shout at each other.
“It’s not going to help, and we didn’t want Dima to keep picking on Feliks,”
Nikolai growled, standing chest to chest with Yuri.
“It’s not your job to beat up people who are unkind to Feliks-”
“He’s my fucking brother and I’ll do whatever I want! Just because you can’t
fucking stand up to papa doesn’t mean we have to let other alphas bully omegas
we care about.”
“Nikolai Victorovich Alexander Nikiforov-” Yuri warned.
“No mama! I’m not talking about you!”
Yuri managed to barely control his anger, “Nikolai, we need to talk about
this.”
Yuri stopped just short of the bedroom door slamming in his face. The blond
tried to open the door, sighing when he found it locked. His hands were
clenched into fists at his side as collected his anger. Calming down, he stood
on his tiptoes to the reach the key hidden on the top of the doorframe. “Open
the door, or I’ll use the key…”
“Just go away,” Nikolai shouted from the other side. “I don’t want to talk to
you right now.”
Yuri rolled his eyes, slipping the key into the lock and opening the door with
a sigh. Nikolai was sitting on his bed, his back to Yuri as the omega crossed
the room to sit next to him. He was crying, face red and blotchy as he tried to
hide his face. It broke Yuri’s heart to see his second born so upset.
“Will you talk to me, please?”
“Just leave me alone, mama. I don’t want to talk.”
“Niki, i’m not leaving until we discuss what has you so upset. Did something
happen to Feliks that has you so worked up?”
“No…”
“Then what is it, baby?”
The blond alpha turned to look at his mother with a deep frown. “If you and
Feliks were my omegas, mama, I would take care of you. I wouldn’t hurt you or
let anyone treat you badly,” Nikolai sobbed, burying his face into Yuri’s shirt
as the blond held him close. “I don’t want to be like him. I don’t want to be a
horrible person.”
“You won’t be,” Yuri said softly, rubbing his cheek against the top of the
blond alpha’s head. “You’re my sweet Nikolai and you’re just lashing out
because of your rut. It’s a hard time for you, and I’m not mad at you...just
disappointed that you are so upset.”
“It’s not because of my rut!” Nikolai whimpered. “I don’t like him and now i’m
becoming like him.”
“But you’re not. You’re still my Nikolai.”
“If you say so, mama.”
He sat with Nikolai until the boy finally stopped crying, the blond pup
clinging to him when Yuri tried to stand. “I’m going to go make dinner. Are you
going to come with me?”
“Yes, mama.”
“Good. Now, let’s go show everyone that we are okay. I’m sure your brothers and
Yuuri are worried...we don’t have to talk to your father about this.”
“Thank you.”
“Of course, baby.”
As they walked to the kitchen together Yuri couldn’t shake the feeling of dread
that clouded his mind. This was his second child that had reacted poorly after
presenting. Yuri’s stomach felt heavy as he thought back to how upset Feliks
had been to discover he was an omega. That was when he was still under the
illusion that Victor was a symbol of alpha perfection, and not the horrible
bully he actually was. Yuri felt that his relationship with Feliks had finally
recovered since then, but now he was facing another negative situation with
Nikolai. It was obvious that his children could see how poorly he was treated,
and it cut Yuri deeply to think that his pups had been forced to carry around
such intense feelings of hatred toward their father for so long. He didn’t know
what to do, but he knew he needed to do something, not just for himself, but
for his children.

Chapter Summary
     She is finally coming home.
Chapter Notes
See the end of the chapter for notes
It had been three months. Three months of watching doctors and nurses buzz
around Yelena without being able to do a thing to help her. Three months of
sitting in cold, plastic hospital chairs hoping that she would be well enough
to make it through the night. Yuri had battled his way uphill to be strong for
her. He had been so afraid in the beginning; terrified of showing up one day to
find out that she had left him. However, it was all finally reaching an end.
She had been deemed healthy enough to step down to a lower care level, and had
gradually gotten stronger over the last few weeks. Yelena would be coming home
today. He would get to hold her in his arms for as long as he wanted. The
twins, Anton and Sergei would finally get to meet her.
Lev had no idea what was going on, but his blue eyes darted around the room as
he nursed, his tiny hands fisted in Yuri’s shirt as the blond quickly chatted
with Victor. The pair had been discussing the plans for bringing their daughter
home when the silver haired pup had demanded to feed. Yuri smiled down at the
baby in his arms, carefully wiping away the milk that dripped down the Lev’s
chin. “Are you excited to meet your little sister? Hmmm?”
Victor furrowed his eyebrows, “We aren’t bringing the family. Yuuri will watch
the children while we go pick her up.”
Yuri nose wrinkled as he eased Lev into a better position while they pup
switched sides. “I figured the boys could wait in the car while we went in to
get her…I’m sure they’ll be so excited to meet their sister.”
“I don’t like that idea.”
“I think some of them were wanting to come with us, Vitya,” Yuri said softly as
he buttoned up his shirt and snuggled Lev against his chest. He gently rubbed
his hand up and down the pup’s spine as the baby’s head craned around while he
tried to follow Victor as the alpha paced around the room. “Anton seemed really
excited-”
“I don’t want to overwhelm her. Everyone will be staying home, but her parents.
They can meet her when we get back.”
“She’s a baby. It’s not like she knows what is going on.” Yuri countered.
“The children are staying home with Yuuri and that is final.” Victor spoke with
finality, setting a hard tone to his omega that he was serious.
Yuri knew that was no point in arguing, but he had imagined this day going so
differently and he didn’t want to give up that perfect picture of their whole
family meeting for the first time. “The boys are all going to be disappointed,
and Yuuri is getting too big to pick up Lev.”
“Yuuri will be fine with the children. Now, get Lev settled with Yuuri. I want
to go get Yelena as soon as we can.” Yuri looked as if he was going to further
his argument with Victor, but the alpha growled, “Now.”
“Fine,” Yuri mumbled, leaving the room in search of the Japanese omega. Lev
babbled softly in his arms as the blond knocked softly on the closed door to
Yuuri’s room, entering after hearing a weak response. “Are you still in bed?”
“No, just sick. I’ve just been getting more and more nausated as the days go
by,” Yuuri groaned. He was laying on his side, facing away from the door as
Yuri slowly approached him.
“Well, some time with your favorite baby should make you feel better,” Yuri
said with a smile as he rounded the bed to brush a few sweat damp strands of
hair away from Yuuri’s face. “He’s extra cuddly today, and he will just lay
here with you until we get back. I just fed him.”
“I could have fed him. These giant things on my chest leak all the time
now...were you this miserable when you were pregnant with Feliks?” Yuuri
whimpered as he sat up, and reached to ease the baby out of Yuri’s grasp.
Yuri’s mouth contorted into a scowl as he settled Lev into Yuuri’s arms. He had
no desire to let the other omega feed his child, and had zero sympathy for
Yuuri’s current predicament. “I was eleven when I was pregnant with Feliks...it
was a little different.”
Yuuri’s eyes widened in realization. “I’m sorry for bringing it up.”
“It’s fine,” Yuri replied as he turned to leave. “I’ll text you when we’re on
our way home.”
“Yuri,” the blond glanced over his shoulder to see the other omega staring at
him with frown. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have asked you something so stupid-”
The blond sighed, “Really, it’s fine. I’ll see you later, okay?”
The car ride over was silent as the rain plinked against the windshield in
heavy bursts. Yuri picked at his fingernails while going over all the
preparations he had done in anticipation of Yelena’s journey home. His green
eyes glanced up and into the rearview mirror. The blond at the new car seat
that was ready to go in the back, and the large purple leopard print bag with
Yelena’s initials embroidered across one side. It had been a gift from Yuuri
just over two weeks ago, and the blond had loved it instantly, wishing he had
been able to have something similiar with his other children.
Victor had been kind enough to let the omega out at the entrance to avoid
getting the car seat wet. The blond had been appreciative as he hurried to
Yelena’s floor, his excitement making his hands tingle as he gripped the handle
of her carrier tightly. He rounded the corner of the nursery with a smile, but
quickly felt himself growing cold as his eyes settled on a familiar form.
Otabek...Otabek was here.
Had they made plans?
Yuri could feel vomit climbing up his throat when he saw him, any other time it
would have been a welcomed sight, but the omega’s heart was pounding as his
gaze settled on Otabek. The dark haired man hadn’t noticed him. Otabek was
staring into the nursery, smiling at the rows of babies that slumbered just
beyond the thick glass, one finger gently tapping as he appeared lost in his
own thoughts.
Yuri approached Otabek and hissed lowly, attempting to not make a scene. “Beka,
what are you doing here?”
Otabek looked down at Yuri with a smile but then noticed that the blond
appeared to be stressed. His smile lessened, “I was on my way home from
practice, and since I just was in the area, I decided to stop. I just wanted to
see her.”
“You wanted to see her?” Yuri asked softly, feeling his cheeks begin to go
pink, his previous tangent of stress lessening as he looked into Otabek’s dark
brown eyes.
“I did...I’ve grown rather attached to her,” Otabek said with an unashamed
smile, .
Yuri grinned as he tucked his hair behind his ear. “I am glad she had the
chance to meet you.”
“I was going to text you, but I figured you were busy since you didn’t call me
today.”
Yuri froze as he snapped out of his Otabek induced trance to remember exactly
why he was here today. “You have to go before he sees you.”
“Who sees me?”
“Victor. He’s here with me. Seriously Beka, what were you thinking? What if he
just showed up and I wasn’t here? It would have been a giant fucking
nightmare.”
“I would have came up with something, trust me. But, you’re right, I wasn’t
thinking. I’m sorry.” Otabek raised his hand slightly and Yuri regarded it. He
felt the urge to reach for it but thought better, remembering the flower
dilemma. He wanted Otabek to be safe.
“Beka, you need to leave,” Yuri said with an urgency in his tone.
“I’ll go, don’t worry. But why is he here with you? You said he never comes
while you are here.”
“We’re taking her home today. Beka, I told you last week,” Yuri told him
instantly, his eyes fixed on the elevator that Victor could walk out of at any
moment.
Otabek groaned, “Shit I forgot-”
“That’s fine, but please...you can’t let him see you here...” His cheeks grew
more pink and he lowered his eyes, “I wouldn’t forgive myself if something
happened to you, because of me.”
Otabek smiled lightly as a warm feeling filled his stomach. However, he lost it
when the severity of the situation hit him. “Okay, I’ll go wait down one of the
hallways. I wasn’t even thinking, Yura. I’m sorry.”
Yuri crossed his arms over his midsection and hugged himself tight, wishing
somehow that it could be Otabek. “Apology accepted, now please go somewhere?”
“Will you text me when you both are on the elevator or heading outside?”
“Yes, please Beka. Go, please.” Yuri begged, walking away from the alpha
towards the elevator.
Yuri watched the alpha hurry away. The dark haired man was ducking down a
hallway as Victor rounded the corner from the elevator, stalking over to the
blond with a smiled. “You waited for me.”
“Of course. I wasn’t going to just grab her and rush to leave. I figured you’d
want to talk to her nurses…and maybe the doctor if he is available.”
“That’s very thoughtful, Yura.” The omega nodded, clutching the carrier close
to him as Victor held the door open to the nursery reception area. “After you,
my dear.”
Yuri felt sick as he entered the room. He was excited to be bringing Yelena
home, but his fear of being caught with Otabek had tainted much of his mood.
“Thank you, Vitya.”
“Of course, anything for the mother of my pups.”
Anything? I can have anything... Yuri thought. How about a life with an alpha
that really cares about me?
Impossible.
They chatted with the nurses for close to half an hour. Yuri could feel his
phone vibrate in his pocket as he kept his eyes focused on the baby in his
arms. She was a perfect blend of the two of them; Victor’s blue eyes and Yuri’s
blond hair. She sighed and hid her face into Yuri’s chest while the blond
rocked her carefully, nuzzling the top of her head as Victor signed the last of
her discharge paperwork.
“We should get her settled into her car seat, Yura. You can’t hold her while we
are driving home,” Victor said quietly as he ran a finger along the line of one
of her cheeks. “I know you want to bond with her, and you can when we get
home.”
Yuri nodded silently, not wanting to let his daughter out of his hold as he
settled her into the carrier and gently covered her with a blanket. Victor took
the car seat in one hand and held the door open for Yuri as the two made their
way back to the elevators. Yuri fished his phone out of his pocket to check his
messages when a sudden chuckle from Victor startled him.
“Otabek Altin? Visiting someone on the maternity floor?” Victor asked with a
raised eyebrow.
Yuri felt his face grow pale as he stared at the Kazakh skater. Otabek looked
like he was caught off guard as he was waiting by the elevator. Otabek regained
his smile as he extended a hand to the Russian alpha.
“My youngest nephew is having his tonsils removed. I stopped by the nursery on
my way to get him something from the gift shop. He wants one of those giant
stuffed animals.”
“Admiring all the babies?” Victor asked with a slight smile. “I never would
have pegged you as a family man.”
“Yeah, maybe one day I’ll have my own, but for now I take whatever chance I can
to see some sweet pups. I think it comes from being in such a large family. I
have a soft spot for babies.” Otabek chuckled easily, his eyes briefly gazing
over Yuri who kept his eyes down.
“Don’t we all,” Victor said lowly, his eyes flicking between Otabek and Yuri as
the elevator dinged.
“After you.” Otabek insisted as they entered the elevator together. The younger
alpha looked down at the baby carrier, “Is this your newest? I remember you
announcing at the Grand Prix banquet that both of your omegas were expecting.”
“Her name is Yelena,” Yuri said softly, his hands stuffed deeply in his pockets
as he tried to hide his twitching fingers.
“It’s a lovely name,” Otabek said calmly as he stooped to look at the baby.
“She’s beautiful.”
“Thank you,” Victor and Yuri said in unison, the blond blushing as Victor
pulled Yuri tightly against him and leaned down to kiss the top of his head.
“Yuri has given you the most perfect family,” Otabek murmured, casting his eyes
away from the intimate moment.
The metal doors slid open in front of the trio and Yuri quickly left the
confined space with a heavy sigh. His body buzzed with a nervousness that he
fought to control as Otabek headed toward the gift shop while he and Victor
moved toward the large glass entry.
“It was nice seeing you both. Hopefully I’ll be as lucky as you one day,”
Otabek said.
“You can try,” Victor said with a smirk as he ushered Yuri to the main
entrance, one arm wrapped around the omega’s waist. “I hope your nephew is well
soon.”
“Thank you, and congratulations,” Otabek said with a wave as he ducked into the
store.
“You and Yelena can wait here while I get the car.”
Yuri accepted the car seat back with nod, his stomach feeling heavy as he
watched Victor run out into the rain and across the parking lot. Did he know?
Had Otabek done a good enough job of lying? Yuri could feel tears gathering in
the corners of his eyes as Victor pulled up and helped him put Yelena into the
back of the car. The alpha held his hand tightly as they slowly drove home.
“I’m excited to have our family together,” Victor said quietly as he turned up
the radio slightly.
“Me too,” Yuri mumbled as he stared out the window at the traffic around him.
“Are you happy, Yura?”
“I am...I’m very happy, Vitya.”
“Of course you are. Now you won’t have to ever leaving the house, and you’ll be
able to focus on being a better mother to our children.”
“Exactly,” Yuri said with a tight smile, the word almost refusing to come out
of his mouth as he looked at Victor. “This is everything I could have ever
wanted...”
“Good,” Victor stated firmly, and Yuri could feel his small slice of freedom
slipping away as the silence settled between them again.

Chapter Notes
See the end of the chapter for notes
Yelena had been home for almost two weeks, and Yuri had been housebound for
just as long. The twins had a few more days before they would return to school
and Yuuri was trying to avoid venturing too far from the house as his due date
inched closer and closer. The Japanese omega was a nervous kind of excited for
his first child, Yuri could tell, but it didn’t stop the desire to leave the
house if only for an hour.
Yuri was at least grateful not to be alone in his captivity. He was currently
pacing the kitchen, bouncing Yelena in his arms as Yuuri made lunch for the
rest of the children. The Japanese omega was huge. His stomach barely concealed
by the oversized shirt that was stretched tight across his abdomen.
“I don’t know how he expects me to get around for much longer,” Yuuri grumbled,
one hand resting on his swollen belly while the other stirred a large pot on
the stove. “He has asked me to drive the boys to school, because he wants you
here with Yelena.” Yuri could tell that he had made an unpleasant face, “And
before you say anything, I haven’t minded taking the boys anywhere, but this,”
Yuuri gestured to his stomach with a sigh. “This is impossible to fit behind a
steering wheel. I honestly considered teaching Feliks to drive yesterday,
because I just hate it so much.”
“Don’t even suggest teaching my baby to drive without me or Victor there,” Yuri
grumbled, patting Yelena on the back as she began to blink her sleepy blue eyes
up at the omega.
“Yuri, I was just kidding,” the Japanese omega groaned, rolling his eyes at the
petite blond. “And besides...I wouldn’t tell you if I did teach him, which I
didn’t.”
The blond sighed, easing Yelena into her swing before sinking down into one of
the chairs around the kitchen table. “I’m sorry. I’m just tired of being cooped
up. I never realized how nice getting out to go to the grocery store was until
I haven’t be allowed to go do it.”
“Trust me, you can go to the grocery any time.”
Yuri gave the pregnant omega an annoyed look. “You know he wants me to stay
home with Lena-”
“Yuri, I’m perfectly capable of watching her, and I have the twins here in case
of an emergency. I’m glad they have been home despite the circumstances. But
regardless I feel confident that you could go to the grocery store or anywhere
else you want to go. The house should not spontaneously combust in your
absence.”
The blond omega frowned at the idea. He hadn’t really given much thought to how
well the house was running the past few weeks. There was almost an usual calm
while Feliks and Anton were at school, and the twins made themselves useful
during the time after they finished their school work each day. Yuri had been
preoccupied with making sure Yelena was comfortable. He had been devoting all
of his time to his little girl that he had been oblivious to how well his
family was managing itself.
“If you wanted...you could take Anton to dance and I could stay here with the
little ones. We could even say I took him if it makes you feel better.”
“I don’t feel right leaving her…”
Yuuri gently took the tired baby from Yuri’s arms and held her close to his
chest. “It’s time for her to nap, Yura. Yelena will be fine.” He paused a
moment before asking, “Are you afraid he’ll find out?”
“No,” Yuri snapped, crossing his arms.
“Then take Anton to dance. He won’t even know. You’ll be gone while Feliks is
at practice with Vitya.”
“I guess you’re right.”
“Trust me. Both me and this baby,” Yuuri said with a pat to his stomach. “will
thank you. I can hardly stand to be on my feet for the limited amount of time
that I am now.”
“Okay, okay. I’ll go pick him up.”
Yuri waited in his car with the windows down. He was playing a cat game that
one of the boys had installed on his phone while keeping an eye out for Anton
to emerge from the school building. He knew he wouldn’t cross paths with his
alpha. Victor sent a message, telling his to omegas that he had picked Feliks
up early from school to get the oldest ready for his final competition for the
season. The family would be attending the performance at the end of the week,
and Victor had been fretting over the young omega’s short program.
Yuri eventually waited outside of the car, checking his watch for the fifth
time when he saw his pup bounding toward him. Anton had been excited when he
saw the blond omega waiting for him, rushing into his mother’s arms with a
smile.
“Did you bring Yelena? The girls at my ballet class wanted to see her.”
“No baby, she’s home with Yuuri, but maybe next time,” Yuri said with a smile
as he smoothed down the pup’s blond hair.
“Oh okay, momma,” Anton said with a sigh before burying his face into his
mother’s coat. “You have to bring her next time!”
“I will, baby. Now we need to hurry or you’re going to be late for dance.”
Yuri pulled into the parking lot of the dance studio, checking his watch before
quickly following behind Anton. Victor would be just starting the second half
of Feliks’s practice now. He would have plenty of time to get home before the
alpha, and he could even send him a text to ask them to pick up Anton to buy
him more time. Yuri smiled as he thought about grocery shopping.
“What’s on your mind, Yura? You look so happy.”
The omega stopped, turning to see Otabek and his younger sister jogging up next
to them. Anton waved happily to Ayzere before turning to look to his mother.
“Momma, I can walk Ayzere in. You and Mr. Altin don’t need to worry about us,”
Anton mumbled as he smiled at the dark haired girl.
“But I like walking you in, baby-”
“Ugh momma don’t call me that in front of Ayzere,” Anton hissed as he pulled
his dance bag away from Yuri in a huff, moving to take the young Kazakh girl by
the hand to lead her into the studio. “Ayzere, let’s hurry in. I know you like
to do extra stretching before practice, and I could show you some pictures I
have of my new sister on my phone.”
The two children left Yuri and Otabek, leaving the two alone outside of the
building. There was an undeniable thrill between the two as Yuri could feel
Otabek gazing at him. He felt a slight blush creep onto his cheeks as he looked
shyly up at the alpha. Otabek was so handsome, and the past two weeks he was
the majority of Yuri’s wishes, besides leaving the house.
“They seem to be getting along well,” Yuri said with a smile as he glanced up
at Otabek to see the alpha staring at him.
“Yeah...Ayzere talks about him a lot,” Otabek said with a slight laugh as he
averted his eyes.
“We’ll have to arrange a playdate or something…”
“It’s pretty cold out here,” Otabek mumbled, his eyes glued to the black
asphalt beneath their feet as he stood close to Yuri.
“Yeah, it’s been bitter for the last few weeks. The heat in our house has been
running nonstop,” Yuri said with a hint of nervousness in his voice, debating
on just saying his goodbyes and heading back to his car to return home.
“Would you like to join me in my car?” Otabek asked lowly, just above a
whisper.
“In front of everyone? Are you crazy?” Yuri spoke quickly, paranoid that
someone would see or hear them.
“I parked away from everyone. No one will see, Yura,” Otabek spoke, placing an
innocent looking hand on the small of Yuri’s back for a moment before taking it
away much too soon. “It’ll just be the two of us, and it’s always nice to have
a chance to talk with you.”
Talk. They could just talk.
Otabek was parked in the far back corner of the parking lot. The dance studio
seemed miles away as the blond slipped into the passenger seat, fumbling with
the frayed hem of his coat sleeve, unable to make eye contact.
“I haven’t seen you around in a while,” Otabek said softly, his eyes cascading
down the blond omega’s frame in appreciation, a smile gracing his lips.
“I’ve been home...being a mom and all that. You were there when we first
brought Yelena home. It has been all about her lately, but I wouldn’t have it
any other way.”
Otabek smiled like he had just heard the sweetest thing in the world. “I
assumed you were busy since the day I saw you in the hospital.” His smile
faltered slightly, “But you haven’t been bringing Anton to dance, or at the
rink with Feliks-”
Yuri swallowed and dropped his eyes. “Yuuri’s been taking care of that.”
“But he’s at least eight months now, isn’t he?” Otabek asked, shocked.
“I think so. He only has a few weeks left.”
“He shouldn’t be driving. My father would have been very upset with my mother
if she was as active as Yuuri is during the later half of pregnancy.”
“Well Victor isn’t your father,” Yuri said bitterly.
Otabek sensed he was making the blond upset, quickly backtracking. “I’m sorry.
I don’t mean to compare your family to mine so often.”
Yuri sighed and hit his head against the back of the seat. “Don’t apologise.
I’m just tired today I guess. I’m sorry for snapping.”
Otabek reached over silently and covered one of Yuri’s hands with his own, the
warmth of the alpha very welcoming to the small omega. “I understand. It must
be hard, but if you ever need anything, I’m here for you.”
Yuri bit his lip, “I don’t want to be a burden to you-”
“You wouldn’t be! I told you that I could pick up Anton and bring him to dance.
Or anything else you need help with. I gave you my number for a reason…”
“Otabek, I have an alpha.” Yuri whispered, his voice broken.
The alpha slowly withdrew his hand and casted his eyes away from Yuri. “I guess
you do.”
“What is that supposed to mean?” Yuri said sharply.
“It doesn’t mean anything. I should keep my opinions to myself. I’m sorry.”
Otabek mumbled softly.
“No, what did you mean when you said I guess?”
“He just doesn’t seem to support you and Yuuri.”
“How would you know?” Yuri growled.
“I can hardly smell him on you...I’ve never really been able to notice his
scent. It doesn’t seem right.”
Yuri frowned, his cheeks coloring bright red as Otabek’s words seemed to pierce
him. “I don’t understand…”
“You smell like Yuuri...and your boys. Their scents shouldn’t be stronger than
his. You should smell like Victor, but you don’t.” Otabek continued, his eyes
desperate for Yuri to agree with his statement, to know that his relationship
wasn’t healthy.
“Victor has always been aloof. He’s not the kind of alpha that enjoys close
contact-” Yuri responded pathetically, his voice small, not believing any of
his excuses.
“That doesn’t really explain how you’ve gotten pregnant so many times. He has
to be close to you to put his pups in you.”
“So he’s different from other alphas, why do you care?”
“Because… I care a lot about you.” Otabek finished, his eyes seeming to look
straight into Yuri’s soul.
Yuri flinched when he felt Otabek’s hand brush a stray lock of blond hair away
from his face. “I don’t need you to worry about me.”
“I can’t help it. I’ve been drawn to you since I met you all those years ago,
and I know this is going to be too forward, but I’ve wanted to kiss you ever
since then… even now.”
Yuri’s heart rate rose dramatically as his eyes scanned over Otabek’s features.
The alpha was completely sincere, but it didn’t make things easier. “Beka, I’m
afraid of what will happen.”
“I don’t want you to be afraid. I’m sorry.”
“You don’t have to pity me.”
“No!” Otabek said with a little too much force as he feared offending the
omega. “I don’t pity you at all. You’re amazing, and-”
“Do you think that I’m unaware that my alpha hardly cares for me? I’m fucking
nothing to him. All I’ve done for him is have his brood of children, and now
that he has Yuuri my time is up. He doesn’t want to hold me, or even look at
me. I’m not amazing, I’ve just finished serving my purpose.”
“Your purpose is whatever you want it to be. You aren’t defined by him.”
“I don’t have many options. I’m not smart or trained in any skills. I barely
finished my home school program, and that was after I had already given birth
to three children.”
“You can do anything. I could help you. Yura, I’m in love-”
Yuri pressed his hand gently to Otabek’s slightly parted lips. He could feel
the alpha’s heavy breathing against his trembling fingers. “Don’t.”
Otabek took Yuri’s hand from his mouth, moving the back of it to his lips and
kissing it, his dark eyes closed as he carefully moved the hand to kiss each
fingertip with a silent reverence. Yuri whimpered, pulling his hand away as if
he had been burned. His green eyes meeting Otabek’s as he hesitated, unsure of
what to do as the alpha leaned closer to him, nuzzling the pale skin of his
exposed neck.
“Do you want me to stop? I don’t want to upset you, Yura.” Otabek’s mouth
wrapped around Yuri’s neck and sucked just enough to bring in a sharp intake of
Yuri’s breath.
“...Don’t stop.” Yuri breathed, pulling the alpha closer to him.
Otabek licked one long stripe from Yuri’s neck to the blond’s mouth, his tongue
slipping between the omega’s parted lips. He pulled Yuri even closer, his hands
rubbing soft circles into the small of the omega’s back as he explored Yuri’s
mouth. The blond’s arms were wrapped around Otabek’s neck, lost in the moment
as he deepened the kiss.
He had never been kissed like this before. Victor had never taken the time to
hold him so warmly. It was always about just getting pregnant. It was always a
brutal fucking. It was never...never anything he wanted.
“I want to please you…” Otabek whispered, his tongue running along the small
shell of the omega’s ear.
The words felt almost foreign to Yuri’s ears as the alpha mumbled them against
his lips. His body felt electric, his heart pounding as he leaned into the dark
haired man’s touch.
“Tell me what you want, Yura. I want to make you feel good.” The Kazakh man
groaned, his strong scent was filling the car. It reminded Yuri of some rich
food he had eaten once while traveling with Victor. The spiciness was sharp,
clouding the blond’s senses. He felt so primal, his eyelids fluttering as the
alpha whispered to him. Yuri whimpered, his mind racing through all the
possibilities...what did Victor like for him to do? It was his chance to be in
control...
“Suck me,” Yuri begged, instantly regretting his words until he caught the
excited look in Otabek’s eyes.
The alpha moaned, low and rumbling as he pressed another kiss to Yuri’s mouth.
Otabek pulled away, one strong hand pushed Yuri to sit back in his seat while
the other fumbled with the zipper of the blond’s tight jeans. His face was
buried in Yuri’s crotch as the omega cried out, high and needy while the
alpha’s mouth kissed along the swell of his cock.
“Beka, don’t tease me,” Yuri pleaded, desperate for more contact with the
alpha.
“Of course not, Yura,” Otabek said almost submissively, his hand reaching
across Yuri to recline the omega’s seat back. “I would never tease you.”
“Stop talking and put your mouth on me!”
Otabek chuckled at the blond’s eagerness as he freed Yuri’s erection, pulling
the cock into his mouth with a content noise. The omega could feel himself
beginning to get wet, slick starting to ooze out of him as Otabek’s head bobbed
up and down in his lap. He had never felt so good...Victor had never done
anything like this before. Yuri didn’t stifle the wanton sounds that filled the
small space of the car. His thighs were spread wide, his toes curling inside of
his shoes as the alpha’s fingers rubbed his perineum.
“Beka I’m gunna cum,” Yuri whined, his hand pushing Otabek’s head down as his
orgasm grew closer. He had never felt the urge to orgasm so quickly before, the
intense pleasure overwhelming the blond as he entwined his fingers through
Otabek’s hair. Before, with Victor, there was always a sort of repulse his his
orgasms, knowing that he didn’t fully enjoy having sex with Victor. It was
purely his body reacting to the stimulation, but it was different this time,
because Otabek was so different.
The Kazakh man was enthusiastic, humming softly while the blond thrust up into
his mouth, the tip of Yuri’s cock poking at the back of his throat. He happily
swallowed all of the omega’s seed when Yuri finished seconds later. He looked
up, lips swollen and gasping for air. Otabek looked to Yuri for approval,
running his tongue along his lower lip as he waited for the blond to direct
him.
“I...I just need a second.”
Otabek nodded, attempting to sit up when he felt Yuri’s hand on the back of his
head.
“Just rest your head in my lap. I like it,” the blond mumbled.
Otabek chuckled lightly and obeyed Yuri’s wish. “Okay.” The alpha laid his head
down on Yuri’s thigh, his dark eyes gazing up at Yuri’s, his breath coming in
short spurts.
Yuri panted, his chest heaving as he thought of what to do next. He wasn’t
ready to leave. He wasn’t ready to let go of the moment he was having with
Otabek. “Can we get in the back seat?”
The alpha nodded slowly, sitting up to help the blond climb over the center
console of the car. “Don’t lay down yet...I want you to be on top if that’s
okay with you.”
Yuri nodded enthusiastically as he waited for Otabek to join him. He awkwardly
shifted out of his pants before climbing on top of Otabek once the alpha
situated himself in the back seat. The blond’s thin thighs rested on either
side of Otabek’s hips, their pelvises lazily grinding against each other as the
dark haired man moaned.
As they lips hungrily met time after time, Yuri could feel Otabek’s hands guide
their way to his ass and grabbing it hungrily. Yuri whimpered at the touch, his
tongue entwined with Otabek’s before the alpha pulled away to look at Yuri with
hunger. “You’re so wet, Yura...you’re making my pants sticky with your slick.”
“Then take them off.” Yuri suggested sweetly, bending down to press another
long kiss to Otabek’s plush lips.
“I...I’m afraid to. You smell so fucking good, and you’re so fucking
beautiful.” Otabek responded, his words thick with desire.
“Beka!” Yuri moaned as he felt Otabek reach behind again and wind a single
digit around his wet entrance.
“I’d fight him for you...you know that right? I would protect you from him, and
love you so fucking much. You’re so perfect. You deserve the world. Anything
you want, I’d give it to you.”
Yuri whimpered, the alpha’s scent was almost overpowering as he spoke. Otabek’s
desire was in the air around them, and the omega trembled with mutual desire.
“Beka please! So fucking good...”
“I would beg you to have my pups. You’d look so amazing...all round and full of
my babies. I’d take care of all of you. You would want for nothing. We could
run away to Almaty together. I’d buy us a house. I’d do anything.”
“Touch me! I want to feel you. Please take off your pants, Beka. I want to feel
your cock.”
The alpha nodded and forced his pants down, groaning as he erection was freed,
steadily leaking precum as it rested against his stomach. “Yura, you’re so
perfect...I want to taste you more.”
Yuri fumbled to change positions, Otabek carefully helping him move around so
that he was now facing the alpha’s thick cock while his ass was presented to
the man below him. Yuri cried out as Otabek wasted no time, his hands spreading
the omega’s cheeks to reveal is pulsing sex. He dived in hungrily, his tongue
licking broad strokes around the quivering muscle as Yuri began to kiss the tip
of Otabek’s cock. It was hard for the blond to focus as the alpha began to
feast on his ass. Yuri moaned around the dick in his mouth, telling himself
that he was surely giving the worst blow job in the world Otabek’s tongue
turned his body to jelly.
“Beka you’re fucking amazing!” Yuri cried out against Otabek’s cock.
The alpha said nothing, continuing to worship Yuri’s ass even though the blond
had abandoned sucking the dark haired man’s cock. His blood felt on fire. He
had never been with an omega like Yuri before. The blond’s body was so
responsive, so perfect…
“I’m going to cum again...fuck fuck fuck…”
“Do it, Yura. I want to make you feel so fucking good.”
The alpha was a mess of bodily fluids as Yuri came again, the omega’s thighs
trembling and struggling to hold his weight as he rested his head on Otabek’s
leg. The blond groaned, the alpha’s cock was still hard and brushing up against
his cheek as he sucked in large gulps of air.
“Beka you’re still hard-”
“This isn’t about me. Don’t worry, Yura.”
“I want you to enjoy it as much as I am.”
“Being with you is all I want.”
The omega grinned wildly, nuzzling the alpha’s cock before sucking the flesh
into his mouth all the way to the root. Otabek sharply inhaled, resting his
head against the car door as he scissored two fingers inside of Yuri. The blond
used his years of practice, Otabek’s cock was similar in size to Victor’s and
it felt oddly familiar in his mouth as he worked his tongue along the sensitive
area just below the head.
“You’re so good at this...you’re so much better than me,” Otabek moaned, his
dark eyes enthralled with the way the omega’s hole was swallowing four of his
fingers. “I want to love you forever.”
“Beka,” Yuri cried around the dick in his mouth. “Beka I want to taste your
cum.”
“You will, baby. I’m so close now…fuck...”
Yuri blissfully suckled the alpha, his mouth soon filling with Otabek’s hot
seed as the older skater let out a muffled whimper. The alpha finished
scissoring Yuri after the wave of his orgasm finished and pulled out gently.
Yuri pulled away from Otabek’s cock with a sigh, a long string of semen and
saliva still connecting his lips to the alpha’s cock.
“God Yura...you’re fucking incredible.”
Yuri carefully moved around to rest his head on Otabek’s shoulder. His body was
trembling as the alpha held him close. He felt like crying. He felt like never
leaving the backseat of the car and just making this place his new nest with
the Kazakh man.
“I hope you enjoyed it,” Otabek mumbled, his fingers toying with the blond’s
hair. “I’m so lucky to even spend a moment with you. I would give anything to
be your alpha.”
Yuri could feel tears welling in his lashes as Otabek continued to coo softly
to him. He felt so good. His body had never felt more cherished...more loose
and languid as he allowed himself to get lost in Otabek’s scent.
“I’ll always think of you as my first.” Yuri whispered into Otabek’s sweat
slicked skin. “The first man who treated me with respect. Who made me feel
good… who loved me.”
In another world, another lifetime, Yuri would have waited for Otabek. They
would be their own family and Victor wouldn’t be there to bother them. They
could be in love unashamedly without the fear. They could be happy.

Yuri gripped the steering wheel tightly as he left the parking lot. His heart
was pounding. The blond omega could feel slick oozing from his hole while he
sat at a red light debating with himself over whether fooling around with
Otabek had been a bad idea or not. Yuri had enjoyed it...more than enjoyed it,
if he was being honest with himself. He had loved having someone give his
positive attention and shower him with such a strong love. He had wanted Otabek
to take him. If they would have been in a different place he would have
presented for the alpha, and begged in his sweetest voice for the Kazakh man to
make him his.
However, he knew he had fucked up. He could smell Otabek’s powerful scent
clinging to his skin. The pungent smell of the alpha’s seed. It made his mouth
water, and it made him feel guilty.
Victor was going to know.
Yuri hurried up the steps to the townhouse, slamming the door behind him as he
practically ran to the laundry room and promptly stripped out of his clothes
with high hopes of masking the smell with the fresh scent of laundry soap. The
blond omega stood there naked, his hands trembling as he measured out the
liquid detergent.
“Yuri? Is something wrong?”
The blond froze turning to face the dark haired omega with a look of horror as
Yuuri looked at him with raised brows and Yelena balanced on his hip.
“Yuri…”
“Please don’t-”
“You should go shower,” Yuuri said softly, eyes moving to stare down at the
floor as he moved out of the blond’s way. “I’ll let Yelena stay with me in my
room while you get cleaned up.”
Yuri nodded, heading upstairs to the large bathroom attached to his bedroom.
Locking the door behind him as he sank to the floor. He knew...Yuuri knew. The
blond omega climbed into the shower with a muffled sob. It was already over.
Yuri knew the other omega was going to tell Victor. He knew that it was going
to be horrible. If he had thought the rapings and cruelty were bad, then they
were surely going to be much much worse.
Yuri could feel his tears mixing with the hot water as he scrubbed at his skin.
His usually pale flesh was bright pink by the time he left the shower. He had
used half a bottle of his body wash and a ton of shampoo to try to mask
Otabek’s smell, but he wasn’t even sure if it had worked.
The blond omega sorted though his closest looking for clothing that he had worn
while pregnant, hoping that his baby scent would help. Omegas naturally had a
stronger smell while they were with child. Yuri tugged on a loose pair of pants
and a sweatshirt before the idea hit him. Yuuri was pregnant...Victor wouldn’t
even care if the omegas smelled like each other.
Yuri felt himself get a little hopeful as he walked down the hall to the other
omega’s room. He knocked softly on the door, not wanting to startle Yelena
before entering with a grim look upon his delicate features. Yuuri was rocking
the pup in his arms, settled back against the pillows on his king sized bed.
“What in the fuck was that?”
Yuri winced, not expecting the other omega to respond so aggressively. He held
up his hands in mock surrender as he stepped into the room and closed the door
behind him. “I...I met up with someone-”
“And got his scent all over you? Did you let him fuck you?” The dark haired
omega growled.
Anger ran through Yuri as he looked at the other omega. “No! And don’t say
those things in front of my daughter!”
“I could see the dried cum on your thighs…” Yuuri spat, his eyes casting
downwards to the blond’s legs where Otabek’s semen previous habited.
Yuri stopped his anger when he thought about his small moment with Otabek. The
small moment that changed everything, made him feel loved. “I enjoyed myself.
He… he cares for me.”
Yuuri gaped at the blond in amazement, “You’re bonded, Yuri! Do you even know
what that means?”
Tears ran down Yuri’s cheeks, “I never asked for his bond.” He whispered.
“You’re ungrateful,” Yuuri told him, not in anger, but with sadness. He knew
that Yuuri loved Victor, and to think that Yuri would go against that bond
bewildered him.
“I know… I’m sorry.”
“You betrayed the father of your children.”
“Yuuri I’m sorry,” The blond repeated, hugging his body desperately trying to
retain any form of happiness he was given by Otabek.
Yuuri sighed as he rocked Yelena. “I...I won’t tell him.”
Yuri snapped his head up as he wiped away his tears. “You won’t?”
“No. It’s not my truth to tell. And… we owe each other.”
“I can’t begin to tell you how much-”
“I don’t want to talk about it anymore,” Yuuri interrupted. The dark haired
omega rose from the bed, placing the sleeping girl in the bassinet next to his
bed, that soon his own baby would occupy.
“I know I’m in no position to ask since you are already doing this for me, but
I need a favor from you,” Yuri spoke softly as he watched Yuuri move to come
back to the bed, moving closer to the bed slightly.
Yuuri’s eyes narrowed as he got back into the bed. “What?”
“Let me lay with you...I want to make sure he won’t smell him.”
The Japanese omega hesitated, his posture stiffening before he scooted over on
the bed to make room for Yuri at his side. “Why would you do something so
reckless?”
Yuri moved quickly and got in the bed and cuddled up to the pregnant omega,
feeling selfish as he let Yuuri’s scent wash over him. “I don’t know.”
“Yuri you could have really gotten yourself hurt. You shouldn’t trust random
alphas-”
“He wasn’t random,” Yuri interrupted, his cheeks going pink.
Yuuri scoffed and rolled his eyes, “Yeah right, Yuri. Don’t be pathetic. Just
because you might have met this guy once doesn’t mean--”
“He’s not random. Please, just… believe me. I wouldn’t do anything to hurt the
family. Despite everything… I trust him, Yuuri.”
Yuuri looked as if he wanted to say something, like he had pieced together
something, but he chose not to say anything. Yuri was eternity grateful for it.
“You’re a fool,” The older omega said softly, without any bite.

Victor took the steps two at a time as he made his way to the front door of the
townhouse, Feliks and Anton trailing behind him. He hung his coat in the closet
and wandered into the kitchen to see Nikolai at the stove, Mikhail was setting
the table where Sergei and Lev colored quietly.
“Where are your mothers?” Victor asked slowly, his blue eyes surveying the
scene in front of him.
“Sleeping. Momma is in Yuuri’s room,” Nikolai replied dully, as he stirred a
large stock pot. “Dinner will be ready shortly.”
“Thank you, Niki,” Victor said with a smile as he headed toward the stairs, he
stood in silence outside of Yuuri’s room for what seemed like an eternity
before pushing open the door.
His omegas were curled up together. The scent in the room was thick, assaulting
the alpha’s nose with honey and spun sugar. Everything was sickeningly sweet.
Yuri’s head was tucked under Yuuri’s chin as the blond was molded around the
larger omega, one thin hand resting on the dark haired omega’s swollen belly.
Victor raised an eyebrow as he entered the room, taking a seat on the edge of
the bed before clearing his throat.
“You’re supposed to be watching the children, Yura.”
The sleeping omegas woke slowly, Yuri still resting his head on the pregnant
omega’s shoulder as Yuuri made the first move.
“I wasn’t feeling well after taking Anton to dance, so he helped me get
upstairs,” Yuuri lied, easing the blond off of him to crawl across the bed to
where Victor sat. “This big baby is giving me trouble.”
The alpha practically purred as his pregnant mate nuzzled his chin. He drew
Yuuri into his arms, raising a sculpted eyebrow at the blond over the omega’s
shoulder. “I'm glad to see the two of you are getting along.”
“Yes! Yuri has been super helpful and I was hoping you'd let him do some of the
shopping and driving the kids around. I can't really drive anymore...it just
doesn't feel safe with how big I am and I want to make sure everything is ready
for the baby. I've been getting in some practice time with Yelena too, but it
wouldn't hurt for her to get more time with me…”
Victor wrinkled his nose before helping Yuuri to lay back against the pillows
once more. “We will see about that, my love. I don't want you to be afraid to
drive-”
“I'm not afraid, I'm just not comfortable,” Yuuri whined, resting his hands on
either side of his stomach as he spoke.
“I simply won't allow you to be uncomfortable,” Victor teased, kissing Yuuri on
the nose. “I just loved seeing the two of you together just now...the three of
us should try spending more nights together.”
Yuri was able to stop himself from drowning before the alpha looked to him with
a sly glance. “Yeah…” Yuri mumbled as he tried to leave the bed, only to have
Victor's hand wrap around his wrist.
“Actually, we could do a quick practice session right now since the two of you
are so rested.”
Yuri's cheeks went pink as he looked to the other omega. The Japanese man wore
a similar expression before he dared to try and defuse the situation. “We
haven't seen the boys all day and it's dinner time -”
“Nikolai was making dinner and Feliks and Mikhail can keep an eye on the
younger boys. We can make it fast,” Victor said with a wicked grin as he drew
Yuri to the edge of the bed and started to undress the blond from the waist
down. “I mean look...Yuri's already wet.”
The blond's face felt on fire as Victor bent him over, pressing his stomach
into the mattress. The alpha’s meaty fingers prodded at his hole, sliding
inside with little resistance due to the amount of slick that was still
dripping from him after his encounter with Otabek.
“Yuuri come closer, you'll love the feeling of Yuri's mouth on your cock,”
Victor urged, gesturing the dark haired man forward to practically straddle
Yuri's face.
The older omega felt guilty as he took his flaccid cock from his pants,
awkwardly holding it near Yuri's mouth as their alpha began to fuck the blond.
He pushed in with no warning, causing Yuri to cry out in pain as he fully
seated himself inside.
“Put your cock in his mouth,” Victor snapped, his eyes watching the dark haired
omega wrestle with the idea of having Yuri on him. “Do it, Yuuri.”
Yuuri jerked himself, managing to get halfway hard before rubbing the head of
his dick against the blond's lips. Yuri sucked him in, carefully working his
tongue over the head as he brought more of the shaft into his mouth. He
couldn't look Yuuri in the eye as he sucked him. The blond's body rocked back
and forth on Victor’s dick, Yuri tried to match his sucking to the awkward
motion, but felt as if he was giving the sloppiest blow job of his life.
However, Yuuri finished quickly, his hormones raging due to pregnancy were
actually welcomed on this one occasion. The older omega whimpered, his hips
slightly bucking through his orgasm as Victor urged him to be rough.
“Fuck his throat, baby. Yuri can take all of you.”
The dark haired man pulled out with a low groan and watched as Victor continued
to piston into the blond, his hips smacking against Yuri's milk flesh as he
soon filled the blond with his seed, avoiding tying them together with his
knot. Victor smiled at them both as he tucked himself back into his pants.
“Maybe next time the two of you could fuck while I watch?”
Neither omega said anything as the alpha left, both of them just laying in
their respective positions avoiding each other's gaze. Yuri could feel Victor’s
cum leaking from his hole and down his thighs. He felt disgusting and used. The
good feelings from his backseat tumble with Otabek fading almost entirely into
the distance as he stood up and fixed his sweat pants. The blond pulled Yelena
into his arms and started to leave when the dark haired omega broke the
silence.
“Was it worth it?” Yuuri finally asked, pulling up his pants and moving to sit
on the edge of the bed.
“Absolutely.”

Yuri’s fingertips drummed along the smooth line of the railing. He felt as
nervous as he had been with any of Victor’s competitions in the past, his palms
were clammy and body restless as he waited. However, this time it would be his
first born that took the ice. Feliks had been preparing for months, spending
hours after school each day to glide across the ice like a mirror image of his
father and today Yuri hoped that all of his hard work would pay off.
The blond’s eye glanced over toward Yuuri. The Japanese omega had insisted on
coming to see Feliks’s performance, bundled up in a thick sweater that was
stretched tightly over his belly that held a brand new life that would be
joining them any day now. Yuuri was positively glowing. He wore pregnancy well
despite how miserable he had been over the last few weeks. Yuri smiled at the
way the dark haired man braced his hands on either side of his stomach as the
he laughed softly at Sergei, who was dragging Lev around by the hand, pointing
at all of the skaters that he recognized from Feliks’s class. The way that the
small silver haired pups clapped and cheered for everyone, no matter how well
they did on the ice brought a smile to the blond omega’s face.
Yuuri was sandwiched between Nikolai and Mikhail, the two alpha children
feeling like it was their responsibility to look after the omega while Victor
was busy with Feliks. Anton was cuddling Yelena, the sweet middle child seemed
to love his little sister the most, always offering to hold her when Yuri was
preoccupied. The blond felt a warmth blooming in his chest as he watched the
playful chaos that seemed to follow his family wherever they went.
Family.
The word felt so odd when applied to the life that he had found himself in
after what had happened all those years ago. It wasn’t ideal, it wasn’t exactly
right...but it was his. This was his family. This was a family that he had
never imagined having, but was more than overjoyed with his herd of children
and was slowly warming up to his sister omega.
Yuri had noticed Otabek as soon as he walked into the rink. The Kazakh alpha
sat with a herd of his own, three older omegas swarmed around him and two rows
of children as they waited for a skater from their pack to take to the ice.
Otabek was the tallest one there, and easily spotted above the swirling mass of
Altins as he waded through a cluster of family members to find a seat in the
front row. The dark haired man had flashed Yuri a quick smile before wrapping
his arms around a little sister that had crawled into his lap, gaze lingering
for just a moment before he was patted on the shoulder by a younger brother.
Yuri tried not to stare, his heart pounding as he assumed that everyone knew
they had been together. His cheeks seemed to burn as he glared down at the ice.
Yuuri knew...yet for some reason he had decided not to say anything. It was a
debt Yuri knew he could never repay, but he had been trying his best to be
nicer to the other omega.
“Mama, I want a snack and so does Levvy.”
Yuri rolled his eyes as Sergei tugged at his pant leg and demanded attention.
He had been wondering how long it would take for the small boy to become bored,
and surprisingly he had lasted a lot longer than the omega would have guessed.
Yuri brought both boys into his arms with a chuckle, carefully balancing them
on opposite hips before making his way over to Yuuri. “Do you know how many
more boys there are before Feliks? I might run and get snacks for everyone if
there is time.”
“Maybe four or five? You should have plenty of time,” Yuuri said as he reached
out to take Sergei from the other omega. “How about you leave these two with
me...and bring back something super salty for me to eat. I just want some
greasy concession stand food. Like, if there is a hot dog there that looks like
it has been on the roller for like three weeks, I want it.”
“You are disgusting.”
“It’s this monster baby,” Yuuri whined, Mikhail patting the man’s stomach with
a sympathetic look as the dark haired omega chuckled. “My baby only wants to
eat trash.”
“Leave that poor child out of this. You have always eaten garbage.” Yuri
grumbled rolled his eyes, handing Lev to Nikolai before heading out into the
main hall. “I can’t wait until the baby can’t be used your excuse for all the
dumb stuff that you do.”
“Soon!”
“Not soon enough,” Yuri said with a grin as he looked back over his shoulder
toward the other man.
He waited in line at the concession stand while obsessively checking his phone
to see if Otabek had messaged him, frowning when he saw an empty inbox. Maybe
it had just been a one time thing. Yuri didn’t know if maybe Otabek had an
omega of his own that he was seeing and that Yuri would just possibly a side
fling. Maybe Otabek regretted being with him? The questions swirled around in
his mind as he checked a text from Victor. A simple photo of Feliks in his grey
and blue performance costume. He looked so mature, deep blue eyes and lopsided
grin just like his father. Then suddenly he began to feel guilty. Was he happy
with Victor? Not in the slightest, but what would his children think if they
knew of Yuri’s infidelity. However, the blond’s sadness lasted only for a
moment before Otabek sidled up to him with a soft smile. Yuri was surrounded by
the comforting scent and warm presence that seemed to make his doubts melt
away.
“I saw you get up.. How have you been?” the dark haired alpha asked, a genuine
look of delight across his stern features as he joined Yuri in line.
The blond was unable to stop the blush that crept into his cheeks when he
recalled the tumble he had with Otabek in the back of the man’s car, stepping
forward with the moving line before responding. “I’ve been fine. Busy. I
haven’t really gotten a chance to get out. Victor has wanted me to stay home
with Yuuri since he’s so close to having his baby.”
“He’s lucky to have you to help him.”
“I’m actually very lucky to have him,” Yuri admitted as he reached the front of
the line, quickly ordering and suddenly grateful to have Otabek there to help
him carry everything back.
“Do you know what he’s having?” Otabek asked with honest interest. “Maybe he’ll
have a little girl to help balance out all of the boys you two have to rangle.”
“No, he wanted to be surprised,” Yuri said softly. “But I think it will be a
boy, just based on the way he has been carrying the baby. You know
superstitions and all that.”
“My mother was the same way. She always tried to predict what the other moms
were having before the gender reveal.”
“Was she right?” Yuri asked with a light chuckle, loving the way Otabek’s face
seemed to glow whenever he talked about his family.
“Sometimes, but if you asked her she would say she was right more often than
not.”
They paused just before heading back into the rink, both men awkwardly staring
at their shoes as Otabek decided to finally break the silence. “When will I get
to see you again?”
Yuri hadn’t been expecting him to be so forward, one thin hand gripping his
popcorn tightly while he tried to think of the right thing to say. “Maybe I
could sneak out some time during the week.. But it would only be for an hour or
two.”
“That’s plenty of time.”
--
The week leading up to the point where Yuri and Otabek would be reunited seemed
to drag endlessly for the omega, but it was obvious that Otabek felt the same
way judging by his reaction to seeing Yuri. The alpha had hardly waited for the
blond to close the hotel door before pouncing on him. Otabek’s arms were
wrapped tightly around Yuri, making quick work of the blond’s clothing as they
moved around the room in a tangle of limbs. The alpha was careful not to mark
Yuri as he settled them together onto the crisply made hotel bed, long fingers
tickling the blond’s sides.
Yuri had ordered his groceries from one of those shopping services, making sure
to only get the minimal amount of things he could fit into his car that
wouldn’t parish if they were left out before driving to the hotel that Otabek
had specified.
He felt like a god. Like Otabek was put on this earth to worship him. Yuri
whimpered as the alpha settled between his thighs, lapping at the weeping tip
of his erection before sucking the hard cock into his mouth. He was so good. He
was so amazing at making Yuri feel expensive and loved. The blond hid his face
behind his hands as another moan bubbled up from the pit of his stomach. Yuri
was fighting to keep his legs from closing around Otabek’s head when he noticed
his phone was flashing on the nightstand. He firmly pushed the alpha away as he
answered with a breathy hello. Otabek raising an eyebrow as the blond just sat
there with a look of confusion on his face.
“I think I’m going into labor.”
Yuri sat up in the bed, brushing his hair away from his eyes before finally
managing to force himself to speak. “W-what?”
“I’m going into labor, Yuri, and I can’t get Victor to answer his
phone...There’s no one else I can call and I know this is it.” The Japanese
omega’s voice was watery, and soft. He sounded terrified, and Yuri knew the
feeling of being alone. The blond’s stomach felt like a rock as he remembered
how he had been with Feliks. “Are you almost done at the store? I need to go to
the hospital and I can’t drive.”
He could tell the dark haired omega was crying. Yuuri’s voice sounded far away
as he begged the other man to come home. Yuri felt ill when he remembered the
poor excuse he had cooked up to sneak out to visit Otabek. He should be home
helping Yuuri. The man had already covered for him once.. And now he was just
taking advantage of Yuuri’s kindness. “I’m on my way home now, just try to stay
calm. I’ll only be a few minutes. I promise, Yuuri.”
The Kazahk alpha looked distressed while Yuri ran around the room, gathering
his clothing. “Is something wrong?”
“Yuuri fucking went into labor, and I can’t believe I fucked up this bad,” Yuri
whimpered, tugging his shirt on with one swift pull as he struggled to get his
tight pants on.
“You haven’t fucked up anything, Yura,” Otabek interjected, tucking his half
hard cock back into his pants with a groan. “We can figure this out-”
“He’s fucking alone!” the blond snapped, as he turned back toward the alpha
with tears in his eyes. “You have no idea how horrible that feels. It’s his
first child, and he’s just stuck there watching all of my children like some
sort of house maid.”
“Calm down and put your clothes on. I’m coming with you.”
“No!” Yuri growled. “You aren’t my alpha, and I know how shitty the situation
is, but I have to go.”
“I’m coming with you,” Otabek said softly. “We can think of an excuse later,
but the two of you are going to need help. I can watch the children while you
are with Yuuri, but for now we need to get on the road.”
--
Yuuri’s sweaty head rested on the cool window as he pathetically whimpered.
“Did you try calling him again?”
“Yes, I promise,” Yuri said quickly as he slipped out of the car and hurried
around to help the other omega from the vehicle. They had parked under the only
area with an awning, which luckily happened to be the entrance that they
needed. The snow fell in heavy clumps as the blond made sure to steady the
other man as they took slow steps toward the door. “I don’t know where he is,
or why he isn’t answering.”
Yuuri was a mess, tears streaking down his face as he leaned Yuri, his hands
wrapped tightly around his backpack. “He’s going to miss it.. He’s not going to
get here on time-”
“Focus on your breathing, and don’t even worry about him,” Yuri said with a
calm sigh, leading Yuuri into the emergency entrance of the hospital.
Otabek had been insistent on helping, taking the small children to his mother’s
house for Yuri to pick up later once Victor arrived at the hospital. It hadn’t
been the ideal situation, but it would be easier for Yuri to help the other
omega without having to tend to the other children. Yuuri had been curious when
the pair had arrived, but had been more concerned with the sudden arrival of
his new pup rather than asking questions.
“Are you fucking him?”
“What!?” The question was blunt, but cut through him like a knife as he helped
Yuuri sit down into a wheelchair. “No, I’m not fucking him.”
“But he’s the one.. He’s the one you smelled like,” Yuuri mumbled as he rubbed
the sides of his belly. “His scent was all over you.”
“We aren’t fucking,” Yuri said with a hint of defensiveness, easing Yuuri’s bag
from his hands while following behind the beta nurse that wheeled Yuuri into
the reception area. This wasn’t the time or the place. Victor could arrive at
any moment, and Yuuri was experiencing extreme pain that seemed to be causing
him to lash out. “But I get it. I fucked up and should have been there to help
you. If I promise to explain later, can we just focus on you right now?”
“You owe me,” Yuuri nodded quickly, growling as another wave of pain washed
over his pelvis.
“I owe you twice now,” Yuri reminded the other man as they got on the elevator,
squeezing Yuuri’s hand as the doors began to close. “But let’s get you ready to
have this baby.”
Akihiko Victorovich Nikiforov weighed eight pounds and seven ounces. He was
born with a full head of black hair and a chunky little body that fit right
into Yuuri’s arms as the omega sagged against the small mound of pillows behind
him. Yuri had stayed with him through the whole ordeal, realizing that
childbirth was something that seemed so magical when you were on the other side
of it.
Victor had arrived shortly after the pup had been born, stalking into the room,
shoulders still covered in snow when he saw the two omegas together. Yuuri had
been asleep, leaving Yuri to snuggle with the wiggling child on his chest when
the alpha hung up his coat and motioned for Yuri to take the baby and come
closer to allow Yuuri to sleep.
“Where are the boys and Yelena?” Victor asked softly, making grabbing hands for
the child. “Traffic was horrible, or I would have been here sooner.”
“They are staying with a neighbor,” Yuri mumbled as he nestled the baby into
Victor’s arms, watching the way the alpha’s eyes seemed to sparkle as he looked
at his newest addition. The alpha pressed a kiss to the top of the baby’s head,
nose brushing over the thick black hair. “I figured it would be easier on Yuuri
to not have the entire family here while he was trying to have his first
child.”
“How thoughtful of you, Yura,” Victor said with a hint of approval in his voice
as he moved to take the blond’s seat next to Yuuri’s bed. His hand found
Yuuri’s, lacing their fingers together over the thin material of the blanket
before bringing the soft hand to his lips and kissing the delicate skin.
“I.. I guess I should go get them and take them home to the other boys. They
could watch them while I gather up some clothes for you. Yuuri brought his
bag.”
Victor nodded, his eyes still fixed on the small life in his arms. The baby
cooed weakly at his father, prompting the alpha to bring him closer to lay
across his chest, the steady rhythm of his heart helping to calm the child.
“Take your time. I want Yuuri to rest.”
The blond nodded as he slipped from the room and headed back down to the
parking lot, making his way out into the snow. When he finally got to the car,
his hands gripped the steering wheel for support as he tried to recall the
numerous times he had given birth before. Had Victor looked at their children
like that? Had he been so concerned for his well being after producing a tiny
human from his body? He had never felt so alone as he sat in silence, the
windshield wipers throwing snow from the car. Yuri’s heart was pounding as he
eventually left the parking space and decided not to think about it, only
wanting to get back to his children and to see Otabek for as long as he could
manage.

Chapter Summary
     The Altin Family
Chapter Notes
See the end of the chapter for notes
Yuri had driven in silence to the address he’d received in one of the giant
rush of messages that flooded the blond omega’s phone. It was all a cluster
fuck of questions and well wishes as people tried to get any information out of
him about the birth of Yuuri’s baby. How is Yuuri? Is the baby a boy or girl?
Is Victor happy?
Yuri had deleted most of the messages; Victor and Yuuri could deal with them
later. He sent a quick text to Feliks, letting the oldest boy know that he
would be home soon. At the moment his mind was adrift, his thoughts jumping
from one fleeting topic to the next as he pulled off the main road and down a
gravel stretch that winded back into a large open area with three small cottage
houses at the end of a cul de sac.
Each house was identical, most likely built by the same construction company..
Maybe one of those upper class operations that catered to multi-omega families.
Patchwork roofing that consisted of large solar panels with gaps for skylights,
large front porches and three matching minivans in each driveway. This was most
certainly the Altin Family Compound, as Otabek had often referred to it.
There was a herd of children playing in the snow; mismatched winter clothing in
bright colors contrasted with the fresh white powder that fell in large clumps
from the grey sky. Yuri parked his car before reaching the mass of people,
deciding it would be better to proceed on foot in case of rogue children
darting out across the drive.
As he approached, the blond noticed a duo of older omega females huddled
together on one porch, the first house on the left. They each grasped steaming
mugs, chatting animatedly with each other as their children ran wild around
them. Yuri spotted Otabek almost immediately. The alpha towered over most of
his siblings. He had said before that he was the oldest, but Yuri have never
really understood how much older he was that most of his brothers and sisters.
The dark haired man gave a sheepish wave, trying not to draw too much attention
to Yuri’s arrival and obviously failing as a gaggle of children began to rush
in the blond’s direction like a tsunami of Altins. Yuri plastered on a quick
smile, his parenting instinct kicking in as knee high pups tugged at the hem of
his coat while older children coyly asked probing questions about his
relationship with Otabek.
It was a constantly babbling as more than twenty children vied for Yuri’s
attention as the blond searched the crowd for any signs of his own pups. He
hadn’t sent them in winter clothing, so most likely Otabek would have chosen to
keep them inside. The alpha grimaced as he tried to wade through the crowd as a
high pitched whistle cut through the crisp winter air, prompting every set of
dark eyes to turn back to the porch with the omega females.
“Тоқта,” the older female shouted, clapping her hands twice before putting her
hands on her hips. Her lips were set in a thin line as she sternly shook her
head and motioned for the children to come back. The other omega was smiling,
her dark eyes glittering as she watched her sister omega take command.
Yuri let out a sigh of relief as that seemed to work and the group of children
slowly backed off, some of them returning to their games while others just
shyly watched as Otabek inched closer to Yuri with a scarlet blush beginning to
creep across his face. “You said you had a ton of siblings...but this is a lot
more than I expected.”
“It’s nightmare inducing,” Otabek mumbled, running a gloved hand through his
hair as he avoided Yuri’s gaze.
“Not really, just seems like you’d never be bored,” Yuri chuckled, waving at
one of the alpha’s more persistent little brothers that stood glued to the
older man’s side.
“Never.”
Yuri followed close to Otabek as the alpha, heading toward the middle house
with his hands shoved deep into his pockets as he tried to keep up with the
taller man’s strides. “Which one of those ladies was your mother?” Yuri asked,
not wanting to assume the older woman was his mother by default.
“Neither,” Otabek said softly as he walked up the shallow steps to the front
door, holding the heavy wood open for Yuri as he followed the omega inside.
They took their shoes off at the door, next to a large coat rack that was
mounted against the deep grey wall. The decor was simple and modern, cool
neutral colors accented by vibrantly colored photos that hung in heavy black
frames on almost every wall in a gallery like fashion. Yuri chuckled as they
passed by one wall that was a mini shrine to Otabek. A large promotional poster
was framed with several small images from various sources. His medals hung in
elegant shadow boxes that were neatly lit from the inside with small LED
lights. Yuri nodded his approval as Otabek’s face seemed to only grow a dark
shade of red.
“My ана is very proud of me…”
Yuri smiled, running a finger along the glass of a photo of Otabek from last
year’s Grand Prix. “As she should-”
“He,” Otabek corrected softly, continuing deeper into the house and ending up
in a large open kitchen.
A thin omega male stood at the stove with his back to Yuri, but the blond could
smell his scent over the food he was preparing. It was rich and buttery,
reminding Yuri of the decadent pastries he had once purchased at the
supermarket. Croissants with honey drizzled all along the top.
“Mama!”
Yuri perked up as Sergei wrapped his arms around the blond’s legs, a large
sticky smile stretched across the small boy’s face as he tugged his parent
toward a long oak table where Lev and Yelena sat in dark wooden high chairs
with trays full of puffed rice treats. “Mr. Altin made us pudding and let me
have all the kissel on it that I wanted! I got to feed myself, because I’m
big!”
“Oh?” Yuri asked, pulling the pup into his arms and wiping at Sergei’s bright
pink mouth. “You’re a big boy?”
“He was a great helper.”
Marat Altin’s smile seemed to make the room radiate with a calm energy. He had
one of those awkward smiles where he absently chewed on his bottom lip as he
smiled with only one side of his mouth. He was petite, standing closer in size
to Yuri than Otabek. There were two things Yuri recognized about him
immediately. He was starting to go grey at the temples like a distinguished
gentleman, and Otabek looked nothing like him.
Marat laughed as he wet a dish towel and handed it to Yuri. “He was quite
insistent that he was old enough to be his own man, his words not mine. You
have a very funny child Mr….”
“Plisetsky,” Otabek said before Yuri could answer, moving to stand by Yuri’s
side, their hips ever so slightly touching as the blond bounced Sergei in his
arms.
“Ahhh, I think I’ve heard that name before,” Marat commented softly as he moved
the pot he was standing over to another burner. “Can I offer you some tea? Or-”
“Not now ана,” Otabek mumbled shyly, scowling at the disapproving look the dark
haired omega gave him.
Marat’s kindness was unwavering as he crossed his arms lightly over his chest.
“But he just got here and it would nice to be allowed to meet the mother of
these lovely children-”
“I’m sorry I really can’t stay,” Yuri half whispered, feeling his phone vibrate
in his pocket.
“Janım…”
“Yura’s sister omega just had a baby and he needs to get his pups home.”
Marat wrinkled his nose, looking at Yuri with a bewildered expression. “You
should be with your alpha.. Janım you didn’t tell me! You can just leave this
little ones here. They are no trouble at all.”
“No no no. I thank you for the help, but I have four more boys waiting for me
at home and they’ve been home from school for about an hour without me,” Yuri
said quickly, looking to Otabek for help as the older omega kept offering to
watch his children.
“You heard him ана. Yuri has to get home,” Otabek added with vigorous nodding,
his scowl returning as he felt a sense of unease while anticipating all of the
questioning her would indur later.
Marat rolled his eyes, mumbling under his breath in a language that Yuri could
recognize as Kazakh, but was unable to place the words. “Let me help you get
this little ones out to the car. Janım go ask Liza or Anar to help you move
over the car seats while I help Yuri get these pups ready to travel.”
Yuri watched as the alpha left, a cold knot beginning to form in his stomach as
he heard the door close behind him. Marat cooed at Yelena, cradling the tiny
girl in his arms as Yuri helped Lev out of his high chair and onto unsteady
legs at the blond omega’s side.
“Your alpha doesn’t know you are here.”
Yuri felt his stomach threaten to revolt as he refused to look the other omega
in the eye, balancing his boys on either hip as Marat stepped closer to him.
The older man’s scent was still sweet, nothing threatening or upsetting as Yuri
felt the man stare at him.
“I don’t know your reasons, and I won’t judge you, Yuri Plisetsky.”
The blond remained quiet, unable to bring himself to speak as he silently
prayed for Otabek to come back. It seemed like an eternity as they waited
together by the front door for the alpha and one of the other omega females to
change over the car seats.
“Look at me.” Marat’s voice was firm, a resonating command in the entry way.
Yuri looked up with a submissive frown meeting the older man’s gaze with
reluctance. “Don’t hurt my son.”
“I won’t.”
“I know you won’t do it on purpose.”
Yuri nodded as the door opened, the cold air filling the once warm space and
seeming to suck away the happiness that was previously there. As he drove home
with his children babbling softly to each other, Yuri couldn’t shake the
feeling of guilt that gnawed at his very core.

Feliks had seemed curious when Yuri had arrived home in such a frenzy, but the
young omega hadn’t dared to question anything. He had been confused when he had
gotten home to an empty house, having luckily remembered to take his house key
to school. He had hurried his younger siblings inside and away from the cold,
taking his position as eldest sibling seriously as he set them on their ways,
warning the twins that they needed to do their homework or Papa would surely be
displeased.
The silver haired omega had just started to head up to his room when he heard
the front door slam, hurrying with socked feet back down into the living room.
His mother looked panicked as he stuffed odds and ends into one of Yuuri’s
empty skating bags. “Mama?”
The older omega didn’t seem to hear him, but the baby in Yuri’s arms turned at
the sound of Feliks’s voice. Yelena wabbled in Yuri’s grasp, her bright eyes
watching her brother as Yuri grabbed a few of Yuuri’s belongings before heading
into the kitchen. Feliks waved his fingers at his youngest sibling, earning a
smile as he moved quickly to keep pace with his mother. “Mama.”
Yuri paused, balancing Yelena on his hip as he glanced at Feliks over his
shoulder. “Yes, Feliks?”
“You weren’t home when we all got here and I was worried,” Feliks mumbled as he
followed Yuri into the kitchen, hovering behind his mother as the blond grabbed
a few bottles for Yelena out of their refrigerator. He could tell the other
omega was in a hurry, and was certain he knew why. “Did Yuuri have his baby?”
“Yeah, I..I need to get back to the hospital and your father. You know he gets
stressed in these situations.”
Feliks knew first hand how manic his father got in any sort of high tension
moment
“Is Uncle Yakov going to come over? Or Aunt Lilia?” Feliks asked with a raised
brow, a habit he had learned from watching his mother over the years. It made
Yuri smile when he had a moment alone with his oldest, able to see so much of
himself in a package that looked so much like Victor. “I could make dinner-”
“Lilia will come over with dinner. I’m sorry that I can’t bring you and the
twins, but you know how Sergei gets when he’s left alone with Lilia,” Yuri
grumbled, fingers trembling as he struggled to knot the scarf at his neck. “I’d
like to avoid a meltdown.”
“Trust me, mama. I understand,” Feliks snickered as he pulled his math textbook
out of his grey backpack. He took a seat at the kitchen table “I’ll try to help
out..if you leave Yelena here I can watch her until Lilia gets here. I can work
in the kitchen and she can have a snack in her high chair.”
“Thank you, zvyozdochka,” Yuri said as he pressed a kiss to his oldest child’s
cheek, passing his smallest off with a sigh of relief. “You’ve always been the
person I can count on most.”
“You’re welcome, mama,” Feliks murmured as the older omega disappeared out the
door without another word. As he settled Yelena into her seat, Feliks’s nose
twitched at the unfamiliar smell, but he knew it wouldn't be right to say
anything.
--
Yuri had sent Victor for coffee as soon as he arrived, giving the alpha an
excuse to collect himself while the blond stayed behind with the newest member
of their family. If he smelled an unfamiliar scent on Yuri, the blond was
prepared with a story about an overcrowded hospital elevator and a nervous
young alpha. He knew his husband would be too concerned with Yuuri to question
him, and for once Yuri was happy to be able to fade into the background while
the dark haired omega took the spotlight.
The room was empty by the time he arrived, the soft beeping of Yuuri’s heart
rate monitor and the high pitched snuffles of the new baby were the only sounds
in the dim suite. “I see that you survived.”
“Barely,” Yuuri groaned. “You didn’t warn me that it would be so painful.”
“Did you take the drugs?” Yuri snickered, leaning over the bassinet next to the
dark haired omega’s hospital bed to get his first glimpse of Akihiko’s face.
“Of course, and I’m happy I did.”
The two omegas shared a brief laugh before Yuri reached in to scoop up Yuuri’s
baby, pausing before he fully lifted the pup out. “Do you mind if I-”
“Go ahead,” Yuuri waved him off, obviously exhausted as he smiled sleepily at
Yuri. “Really, it is fine. You’re the professional here. You’ve held more
babies than I have, for sure.”
“You’ll be a professional as well,” Yuri mumbled as he sank into a firmly
padded chair next to the snow speckled window, the heater working overtime to
keep the chill out of the room as he rocked the baby in his arms. Unlike his
own children, Yuuri’s first born had came out with a full head of inky black
hair that stuck up at the most amusing angles whenever he wasn’t wearing the
green knit cap the hospital had provided. Akihiko was quiet, content to be
swaddled and held in another’s arms while Yuuri was allowed to doze and
recover. It was a much different motherhood experience than all of Yuri’s had
ever been, but maybe this was what it was like to have another omega to support
you.
“I hope,” Yuuri sighed.
“He’s got the fattest little face,” Yuri said with a gentle smile, his index
finger rubbing over the smooth skin of Akihiko’s cheek as he cradled the pup to
his chest. The child had been very calm at the touch of a new person, which had
made the blond omega grumble when he remembered how fussy his pups had been. To
Yuri, Akihiko was a welcomed weight, something so familiar, but strangely
foreign in this situation as he admired the little bundle in his arms that
wasn’t his own. “Were you this plump as a baby?”
“I’m still chunky right now...so I think you know the answer,” Yuuri grumbled,
his eyes fluttering closed while his fingers picked at the loose threads in the
worn hospital blanket. “I’ll just tell myself that all of the excess weight
I’ve carried for my entire life has been leading up to this moment,” the dark
haired omega sighed. Yuuri’s eyes opened “How did you lose all of yours?”
“That’s baby weight.” Yuri had never given much thought to his post pregnancy
body. He usually found himself with child again and again that his body seemed
to no longer be his own. He had never struggled with fertility like Yuuri and
so many other omegas had. He would have never considered himself lucky, but in
some ways Yuri was. “You’ll just have to train harder and get back out on the
ice.”
“I think I’ve been committed to a full time role as mother,” Yuuri murmured,
not quite a complaint but the slightest bit of sadness was still detected by
the other omega.
“You’ll be able to balance it, and I’ll be there to help,” Yuri added, hoping
to raise the dark haired omega’s spirits as he sensed a sourness begin to taint
Yuuri’s mood. “And who knows, Victor might want you to start skating tomorrow,
“ the blond teased.
The silence stretched on between them for more than Yuri was comfortable for.
The blond knew Yuuri was surely turning the day’s events over in his head, a
heaviness lingering as the blond waited for the other man to ask where he had
been earlier in the day. However, Yuuri simply turned to look at him, tears
welling in the corners of his eyes as he chewed the inside of his cheek. “Do
you mean it? You’ll help me?”
Yuri paused, the words leaving him as he tried to answer before finally
mumbling a soft, “Of course.”
Yuri knew they needed to be a united front. He knew they were all each other
had in this world, because Victor had no idea how to be a proper alpha and they
had no one else to turn to. However, Yuri knew he wanted to leave...an almost
unnatural force trying to pull him back to Otabek and a life away from the
alpha who had stolen his youth without a second thought. However, all Yuri
could do in this moment was hug Akihiko closer and scoot his chair nearer to
Yuuri’s hospital bed, carefully stroking the back of the other omega’s hand. He
needed to be here...even if he knew he would rather be there..somewhere with
Otabek. Anywhere.
